Maybe the goal isn’t to become the trader who wins the most.
Maybe it’s to become the trader who makes the fewest decisions that can seriously damage his account.
That’s a different mindset.
You don’t need to catch every move.
You don’t need to trade every day.
You don’t need the highest win rate.
You don’t need the biggest position.
You need an edge, risk management and enough discipline to stay alive long enough for the edge to matter.
That’s trading.

Here’s an unpopular trading opinion:
I don’t think taking more trades makes you a more experienced trader.
Sometimes it does the exact opposite.
You can spend three years taking every setup you see and still have less experience than someone who spent one year learning to wait for only the setups that actually fit their model.
Screen time isn’t automatically experience.
What you learn from the screen matters more.

One thing I would never do again as a trader:
Confuse my last trade with my actual skill.
Won a trade → “I’m getting good.”
Lost a trade → “Maybe I don’t know what I’m doing.”
That’s emotional thinking.
A good trade can lose money.
A bad trade can make money.
Your result is one outcome.
Your skill shows up across a large sample of well-executed trades.
Rule: Judge each trade by whether you followed your plan not by whether it made money.

Father, thank You for another week.
Give us wisdom to make better decisions, discipline to stay away from what isn’t for us, and strength to keep going when things don’t happen as quickly as we want.
Bless the work of our hands.
Protect us from greed, fear, desperation and decisions we’ll regret later.
Open the right doors.
Close the wrong ones.
And give us the wisdom to know the difference.
We put this week in Your hands.
Amen. 🙏🏾

Some seasons will humble you.
Some will teach you.
Some will stretch you.
Some will force you to start over.
And some will introduce you to a version of yourself you didn’t know existed.
Don’t hate every difficult season.
Some of the strongest parts of you were built during the moments you wanted to give up.

I used to think having more money would solve everything.
Now I know better.
Money solves money problems.
It doesn’t automatically give you peace.
It doesn’t give you genuine friends.
It doesn’t fix your health.
It doesn’t create meaningful relationships.
It doesn’t give you purpose.
Make the money.
But don’t neglect everything money can’t buy.

Sometimes we forget how much God has already brought us through.
There were moments you thought you wouldn’t make it past.
Things that broke your heart.
Seasons that tested your faith.
Situations you didn’t know how you would recover from.
Yet somehow, you’re still here.
Still breathing.
Still trying.
Still believing.
Before you ask God for everything you want this week, take a moment to thank Him for everything He already brought you through.
Happy Sunday 🙏🏾

Yo @grok, who are the 10 most talked-about celebrities in Nigeria this month? Or better yet, across Africa?
Rank them based on overall buzz, mentions, engagement, and public conversation.

As you get older, you realize you don’t need to impress everybody.
I don’t care if you think I’m moving too fast.
I don’t care if you think I’m moving too slow.
I don’t care if you don’t understand what I’m building.
I don’t care if somebody else is ahead of me.
I’m genuinely more interested in becoming the person I want to be than looking impressive to people watching me.
Peace over validation.

Money is important.
Anyone telling you otherwise probably hasn’t experienced what it’s like to genuinely struggle.
Money can give you options.
It can take pressure off your family.
It can buy back your time.
It can give you access to experiences you couldn’t afford before.
But money is a tool.
The real goal is what that tool allows you to do with your life.

One thing nobody tells you about trading:
You can take a perfect setup, follow your plan, manage your risk properly, and still lose.
That doesn’t mean you traded badly.
Trading is a probability game. Even the best setup can fail.
The goal isn’t to avoid losses. You can’t.
The goal is to control them so well that one losing trade doesn’t affect your next decision.
Lose small. Learn. Reset. Take the next setup.
That’s what good risk management and consistency look like.

At some point, you have to decide what kind of trader you actually want to become.
The trader who occasionally catches a big move?
Or the trader who understands his market, knows his edge, manages risk and can execute the same process over and over again?
One gives you screenshots.
The other gives you a career.
Chase the skill.
The money will have a much better chance of following.
Master the game, not the screenshot.

If your only reason for learning trading is to make money quickly, the market will humble you.
There’s a phase where you put in the work but the money doesn’t reflect it yet.
You study.
You practice.
You lose.
You review your mistakes.
You improve.
You lose again.
Then one day, you realize you’re making decisions differently from how you did six months ago.
That’s progress.
Trading is a skill. Build the skill first; the money becomes a byproduct of your consistency and execution.

A strategy doesn’t need to give you 20 trades a week to be profitable.
Some traders are addicted to frequency.
If they don’t see a setup every day, they start questioning their strategy.
But frequency isn’t the same thing as quality.
I’d rather have 3 clean opportunities that fit my model than 15 forced trades just because I wanted to stay active.
You don’t need more trades.
You need enough good trades for your edge to play out.
