I think one reason many traders struggle is because they secretly believe losses shouldn’t happen.
So every loss feels like a surprise.
Every stop loss feels like failure.
Every red day feels personal.
The day you accept that losses are part of the business is the day trading becomes easier.

The longer I trade, the less impressed I am by winning streaks.
What impresses me now is consistency.
Anybody can have a good week.
Very few people can stay disciplined for years.

A lot of people aren’t failing.
They’re just underestimating how long meaningful things take to build.

It’s funny how people only start counting your wins once they become visible.
Nobody counted the months you were trying.
Nobody counted the mistakes.
Nobody counted the sacrifices.
Nobody counted the times you almost gave up.
Then one day something works and suddenly you’re “lucky.”
That’s life. GM ❤️🫶🏿

Social media makes trading look like a game of constant wins.
That’s why many traders panic after 2 or 3 losses.
They think something is wrong.
Meanwhile some of the best traders in the world have losing streaks too.
The difference is they planned for them.

A trader who cannot accept losses will eventually start moving stop losses.
Then overleveraging.
Then revenge trading.
Then blowing accounts.
The problem usually starts long before the account is gone.
It starts with refusing to accept being wrong.

One thing that improved my trading wasn’t finding better entries.
It was learning not to get emotionally attached to outcomes.
A trade is not a promise.
It’s a probability.
The market owes you nothing.

This is a reminder to everyone in this space:
We’re here to make money, learn from one another, and build meaningful connections. But if you ever have an issue with someone online, handle it the right way speak up, seek proper advice, and protect yourself.
Most importantly, never do business with anyone in this space without doing your own research first. Verify everything. Speak to people you trust, involve your family if necessary, and get professional advice when needed. No opportunity is worth rushing into blindly, no matter how attractive or profitable it may seem.
Unfortunately, there ar

A losing trade doesn’t automatically mean you made a bad decision.
And a winning trade doesn’t automatically mean you made a good one.
Judge yourself by your process.
Not by a single outcome.

Some of the traders you admire today blew accounts before they became profitable.
You just met them after the lesson was learned.
You didn’t see the mistakes.
You didn’t see the frustration.
You didn’t see the losses.
You’re comparing your chapter 2 to someone’s chapter 20.

One thing social media won’t tell you is that losses are part of the tuition every trader pays.
Doctors pay school fees.
Lawyers pay school fees.
Engineers pay school fees.
Traders pay with losses.
The problem is most people expect to become profitable without paying the price of experience.
Every loss taught me something a winning trade never could.
The goal isn’t to avoid losses.
The goal is to become the trader who can survive them.

A year from now, some of the things stressing you today probably won’t matter.
A year from now, some of the things you’re praying for today might become normal.
Life changes quickly.
That’s why I try not to lose hope during difficult seasons.

The older I get, the more I realize that life is less about having all the answers and more about having the courage to keep moving without them.
Most of us are figuring things out as we go.
And that’s okay.
Keep moving.

This week may not have gone exactly how you planned.
But you’re still here.
Still breathing.
Still trying.
Still believing.
That’s enough reason to thank God this morning.
The story isn’t over yet.

Didn’t make a dollar from trading this month one of my most underperforming months in a long time. 😂
I realized periods like this test your emotions more than anything else. I won’t lie, I lost that battle a few times, but I also learned some valuable lessons.
Every setback comes with a lesson, and I’m taking those lessons into the next month.
August, I’m coming back stronger, wiser, and more disciplined.
By God’s grace, Amen. 🙏

Sometimes I wonder how many people are one year away from completely changing their lives but don’t know it.
That’s the scary part.
Nobody gets a notification saying:
“Keep going. Your breakthrough is 8 months away.”
You just have to keep showing up without knowing.
Maybe that’s why persistence is so valuable.

Your future self is watching.
Not the successful version.
Not the wealthy version.
The version you’re building right now.
Every workout.
Every chart review.
Every sacrifice.
Every decision to keep going when quitting would have been easier.
One day you’ll thank yourself for not stopping.
