#DemocratsWinBothHousesOfCongress
Democrats have retaken full control of Congress in Nov 3 midterms, setting up divided rule as White House stays GOP. This is first time since 2023 that one party holds both chambers while rival holds presidency.
House: AP tally shows Dem 235 won plus 26 leading, GOP 146 plus 28 leading, 218 needed for control. NBC projects at least 258 seats for Dems, with over 60 still to be called. Dems held 215 before vote, GOP 219 plus one caucus ally. Net gain at least 20 seats. Vote share 60.2 million Dem vs 47.5 million GOP.

What is the bid-ask spread? Why can even a seemingly small spread continually erode returns through frequent trading?
In cryptocurrency trading, many people focus only on price movements and overlook the spread between buying and selling. Even when market prices barely change, frequent trading can rack up costs from spreads and fees, ultimately reducing actual returns.
First, what is the bid-ask spread?
The bid-ask spread is the difference between the best ask price and the best bid price in the market. For example, if an asset’s best bid is 100 USDT and its best ask is 100.10 USDT, the spread

Getting ready to find a Spring Festival Gala angle 😄
The 2027 holiday schedule has been announced: the Spring Festival will again have 9 consecutive days off, from February 5 (Lunar New Year’s Eve) to 13 (the eighth day of the lunar new year). No workday adjustments for the Dragon Boat Festival or Mid-Autumn Festival.

Almost no volatility intraday; the positive impact of the Democrats’ election victory is gradually fading. Once in power next year, they will strengthen regulation of tech and crypto—positive in the short term, negative in the long term.
Technically, both the one-hour and four-hour charts are in a pullback phase within a strong uptrend, with no high-volume sell-off. The trend may have a chance to continue.#Gate首创资金安全证明

Congress changes hands; crypto traders shouldn’t rush to conclusions
In the same election, Bitcoin fell and then rose. Trading based only on news headlines can easily leave you getting hit from both sides.
After Democrats won a majority of seats in both chambers of the U.S. Congress, the market briefly worried that crypto regulations would tighten. But the market didn’t keep falling on November 4: BTC first dropped below $76k, then recovered its losses and later that day climbed back above $80k.
Two details need to be distinguished. First, the new Congress won’t take office until January 2027,

$ETH Ethereum's recent rebound can't even firmly hold above 2,450, yet the share of long positions has already surged to over 65%. Sentiment looks heated on the surface, but the fund flows tell a completely different story: spot ETFs saw net outflows of more than $1.2 billion in a month, with institutions pulling out without hesitation; meanwhile, hacker addresses still hold hundreds of thousands of native tokens, which could turn into selling pressure at any time. The inflow channel has been cut off, buying support is paper-thin, and those piles of underwater tokens overhead are no mere decor

Apparently, Micron scrapped plans for another fab in Taiwan because its union there was asking for too much in bonuses lol.
The fab was supposed to come online in 2028.
So that’s less supply hitting the market in 2028.

I analyzed all potential swing lows that had a similar reaction off the lows as yesterday.
I found 37 such reactions. 21 of those reactions still took out the low within 10 days.
But the most interesting thing: 16 of those lows failed within the first 2 days.
That means that for this kind of reaction, if a low is to fail, it usually happens fast. Within 1 or 2 days.
If we don't see such a big reversal, then price usually keeps trending higher.
Failed lows in red (taken out within 10 days), lows that held in white:

- Qualcomm and Arm Earnings Today: Why $QCOM and $ARM Will Decide The Next Chip Rebound
All eyes are on two names today. $QCOM and $ARM.
Qualcomm shares are in focus on Wall Street on Wednesday, November 4, as the semiconductor manufacturer prepares to announce its fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 financial results after the US stock market closes.
This is not a normal earnings day. This is the day that decides if the chip stocks rebound we saw yesterday continues, or fails.

The “bull is back” calls are ringing out again, but last night’s market action didn’t really support blind optimism. BTC and ETH did see a rare rally, but the U.S. tech sector was sharply divided: hardware tech stocks like SNDK plunged, while AAPL held up relatively well. Tech stocks have usually rebounded in unison, but hardware clearly lagged this time—a detail we can’t ignore.
The reason may not be limited to earnings. The U.S. public is taking a tougher stance on data centers, as electricity and water prices rise and local opposition continues to build. Looking at the electoral map, many s

What Is the Funding Rate? Why Can Perpetual Contracts Continue to Generate Holding Costs Even When Prices Do Not Move Significantly?
In cryptocurrency trading, many people focus only on price movements after opening a position and overlook the funding rate. For perpetual contract traders, even if prices move sideways for a long time, holding a position may still incur additional costs or generate income as long as the funding rate is not zero.
First, what is the funding rate?
The funding rate is a mechanism in perpetual contracts through which longs and shorts make periodic payments to each ot

Beyond Proof of Reserves, Gate has introduced PoSEC, a new Proof of Security framework focused on how user assets are stored and protected. By disclosing the distribution of assets across cold storage and hot wallets, users can directly understand Gate’s storage structure and risk coverage under extreme scenarios. Gate’s latest cold storage coverage ratio stands at 104.58%, meaning cold-storage assets alone are sufficient to cover all user assets. PoR verifies whether reserves are sufficient, while PoSEC shows how assets are stored and how risks are covered — together forming a more complete asset security framework.
