No matter where you are,
No matter what political views you hold,
as long as you still identify as Chinese,
today, we should all commemorate those who sacrificed their lives in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression
It was their sacrifice that brought us the peace we enjoy today
Never forget history; our generation must strive for strength

Just now, #CISA disclosed a high-severity Linux vulnerability in ABB’s industrial edge platform: once attackers compromise a regular account or container, they may escape to the host and gain root privileges.
Web3 may not directly use ABB, but nodes, RPCs, and cross-chain bridges widely run in similar Linux and Docker environments, so it is recommended to check kernel patches as soon as possible.
Web3 security is not limited to smart contracts and wallets.
Even if a smart contract audit is flawless, without server patches, private keys can still be stolen.
Isn't taking a dump also a form of loss?
Why don't you feel any pain?
Then try eating it back
So gaining is also a form of pain
Then try pinching it off halfway
Actually, holding on is also a form of pain
Then try drinking some laxatives
Only a loss you can't control is true pain
Not being able to shit is the most painful
So being unable to let go is also a form of pain
When you have diarrhea
you'll know what it means to feel
the pain of trying your hardest to hold on but still being unable to
That last wipe
doesn't mean you've wiped yourself clean
It means its co

#Aave has given $cirBTC the green light, but its risk rating is only “medium.”
1. The reserves exceed the amount issued, so there is currently enough money;
2. There is currently no price oracle for $cirBTC itself, so if it truly depegs, Aave may not detect it in time;
3. Freezing, pausing, upgrading, and cross-chain limits are all controlled by #Circle, with no waiting required.
4. Ordinary users still cannot directly redeem $BTC ; only approved institutions can.
It looks like the money is real, and the centralization is real too. Would you hold it?

Gates said AI could leave poor people even further behind. The Gates Foundation plans to invest $1 billion over the next two years in healthcare, education, and agriculture, while also filling gaps in local-language data.
Where the money will go seems to have been arranged. But what about two years from now?
Once clinics run out of subsidies, who will pay the model usage fees?
Will teachers and farmers still be able to afford it?
Can local people control their own data and modify their own tools, or will they continue waiting for others to send money and technology?

#OpenAI has put Australia’s AI investment and copyright law at the same negotiating table.
The company’s executives put it bluntly: if current copyright law remains unchanged, OpenAI will not build a model training center in Australia, nor the supporting renewable energy facilities.
The Australian government’s bottom line is equally clear: when AI is trained on local books, music, art, and news, creators must have control, including the right to set prices for their work. A leader of the opposition put it even more directly, calling OpenAI’s statement “extortion.”
Don’t mistake “won’t build” f

#Aave wants institutions to collateralize $BTC to borrow stablecoins, while the BTC does not have to leave the custodian.
The new proposal works as follows:
1. The institution keeps its BTC at Anchorage;
2. Chainlink syncs the custodial balance on-chain and generates CoCT credentials with restricted transferability;
3. Borrowing takes place in an isolated market newly created in Aave V4.
Institutions avoid the hurdle of transferring assets. For DeFi, however, the trust chain gains two more links: whether Anchorage’s ledger is accurate and whether Chainlink’s synchronization is timely.

What most discourages people from running AI locally is often not the model, but the pile of configuration that comes before it.
#Otis wants to swallow that step entirely:
After launch, it identifies the computer’s hardware, recommends open-source models it can run, downloads them automatically, and gets them running through llama.cpp. If you’re already using Ollama or LM Studio, you can connect them directly; with multiple NVIDIA devices, you can also use PAIR.
Local mode requires no account and has no telemetry; by default, data stays on your own hard drive.

#Apple 可能正在给 #Siri leaves a “brain-swap” channel.
Developers have dug up two layers of interfaces from the private frameworks of iOS 27 and macOS Golden Gate:
One is called Model Delegation—Siri can hand questions over to models such as ChatGPT and Claude for understanding, then have the system complete tasks involving reminders, files, and more.
The deeper layer is called Inference Providing—third-party models can even receive Siri’s task plans, tool definitions, and execution results. In a demo, #ChatGPT was already able to search emails, organize content, and then call the system to send m

@elonmusk Just confirmed #Grok 4.8: 2.5T parameters, trained on an entirely new C++ software stack; base training wraps up this week, followed by RL. Two days ago everyone was still talking about 4.7, and now it has jumped straight to 4.8—the iteration cycle hasn’t slowed down; it’s actually accelerating.
The innovation and value aren’t in “adding yet another few hundred billion parameters.” The real value lies in that new C++ stack: if training/inference efficiency truly takes a major leap, the payoff won’t be chatbots becoming 10% smarter, but more reliable long-horizon Agent tasks, fewer to

Blockstream Liquid (@Blockstream) was exploited through a software vulnerability, with approximately 4,000 BTC drained; the attacker later returned around 3,400 BTC but kept nearly 600 BTC, claiming to be a white hat and demanding a 10% “bounty,” while threatening holders with the losses. Blockstream refused to pay the ransom, classified it as theft, and promised to make up the peg shortfall.
I personally strongly support this decision.
Taking such a huge amount first and then negotiating over money, demanding a ransom in hostage-taking fashion, is not white-hat behavior at all—it is an extort

August CPI came in hotter than expected, pushing the market’s probability of a #FedRateHike next week to around 90%. Oil prices surged before pulling back, while U.S. stocks instead rebounded on Friday.
Bitcoin surged and then pulled back, now trading sideways around 77,200. Ethereum is relatively stronger, with ETH ETFs seeing large single-day inflows, while BTC ETFs are still seeing outflows this week. The decisions from Monday to Wednesday next week will be a common catalyst.
This round of rate-hike expectations appears to have been largely priced in, so the market has remained relatively s

Today, a rare scene unfolded in the AI industry:
Several people at the very forefront began talking about “slowing down” at the same time.
Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei (@DarioAmodei) published a lengthy post calling for a slowdown in the capability iterations of frontier models, leaving time for alignment, safety, and third-party evaluations.
Sam Altman (@AltmanTracker) said the same day that OpenAI will not go public this year—there is still a lot to do on safety and alignment.
On the other side, Trump flatly rejected concerns that “AI will lead to human extinction.” What he cares more about is

#Anthropic #IPO rumors are heating up again—Reuters says it approached Nvidia about becoming an anchor investor, with financing discussions reaching roughly $100 billion and some mentioning a valuation of around $2 trillion.
#英伟达 可能跟投约百亿美元量级。再加上 #Moonshot’s revenue targets and #Positron’s approximately $875 million financing—the capital stories surrounding AI companies are still very noisy.
In fact, as U.S. large-model companies raise round after round and sector valuations soar, the bubble argument is never far away. When it really bursts, could that instead be a good opportunity?
But as alwa

A former #Anthropic researcher publicly warned that frontier AI could pose an extinction risk to humanity before the end of this decade. The statement quickly reached the U.S. Congress, prompting lawmakers to reexamine and accelerate AI safety legislation.
Almost simultaneously, Anthropic disclosed multiple cases of #Claude being misused, involving potential biological weapons research, state-linked surveillance and cyberattacks, as well as large-scale “distillation” operations to extract the capabilities of frontier models.
Within just a few days, AI safety became the industry’s loudest—and m

August CPI rose approximately 3.4% year-on-year and PPI approximately 5.4%, indicating hotter-than-expected inflation data and pushing the market’s probability of a Fed rate hike next week to 80–90%.
Oil prices briefly broke above $100, U.S. Treasury yields continued rising, and risk assets came under broad pressure. After BTC fell below $77,000, it returned to range-bound trading between $77,000 and $79,000; spot ETFs continued to see net outflows, with daily outflows peaking at approximately $280 million.
But I believe this round is more about macro expectations compressing risk appetite tha

BTC fell from around $79,000 to around $77,000, which doesn’t really look like the crypto market collapsing on its own.
It looks more like the same macro forces are cutting risk assets: oil prices, U.S. Treasuries, rate-hike expectations, plus about $120 million in single-day outflows from spot BTC ETFs.
What’s interesting is the divergence: BTC ETFs are seeing outflows, while ETH/SOL ETFs are still seeing inflows.
That suggests the money may not have left—it’s just become more selective.
Tonight’s CPI is the switch.
