#hbar Hedera Hashgraph

1. What can Hedera technology do?
Hedera Hashgraph is designed to offer a decentralized infrastructure that is fast, secure, and stable. This allows for considering various use cases in areas such as:
• Fast payments: almost instant transactions with very low fees.
• Identity management: authentication and data verification are reliable and without the risk of manipulation.
• Smart contracts: automatic execution of digital agreements with efficiency and scalability.
• Asset tokenization: creating and managing tokens (including NFTs) to represent digital or physical assets.
• Immutable records: a reliable storage of information for applications such as voting, supply chain tracking, and medical records.
2. What sets it apart?
Hedera uses the Hashgraph algorithm:
• Fast transactions: it can process over 10,000 transactions per second (TPS), while Bitcoin handles about 7 TPS, and Ethereum handles about 20 TPS.
• Low latency: transactions are confirmed within 3-5 seconds, while in Bitcoins it may take minutes or hours.
b. Energy efficiency:
• Hedera is one of the most resilient platforms. Its energy consumption per transaction is extremely low, making it much more efficient than Bitcoin or Ethereum. This positions it as a green option for the future.
v. Advanced protection:
• Hedera implements a consensus model based on the asynchronous Byzantine Fault Tolerance (aBFT) algorithm. This is one of the most secure models as it protects against attacks even if some nodes act maliciously.
• In addition, the Hashgraph data structure ensures immutability and the ability to verify transactions.
d. Unique decentralized management:
• Hedera is governed by the Governing Council, consisting of leading companies such as Google, IBM, Boeing, LG, and so on. These organizations represent various industries and regions, ensuring the decentralization and stability of the project.
Unlike many blockchains governed by small communities or anonymous developers, Hedera's approach reduces the risk of unilateral decisions or centralization of power.
i. Low and forecasted rates:
• Transaction fees in Hedera remain consistently low (approximately $0.001 USD). This is unlike blockchains such as Ethereum, where fees can sharply increase depending on network traffic.
3. Real use cases
Hedera not only has promising technology, but is also already being used in the real world:
• Payments and micropayments: services like Dropp allow for instant, inexpensive payments for apps and companies.
• Corporate data management: companies like Avery Dennison use Hedera to track supply chains and ensure product authenticity.
• NFT and digital art: Hedera enables the creation of sustainable, low-carbon NFTs, engaging environmentally conscious artists and developers.
• Government programs: Hedera is used for digital identification and online voting projects.
4. Why is this perspective?
• Advanced technology: its architecture is superior in terms of speed, scalability, and energy efficiency.
• Stability: in a world where concern about climate change is key, Hedera stands out as an environmentally friendly option.
• Corporate Adoption: Hedera, governed and supported by tech giants, has the trust and resources that other cryptocurrencies cannot match.
• Variety of use cases: from asset tokenization to supply chain management, its flexibility makes it attractive to many industries.
