The fastest way to grow on LinkedIn isn't posting more. It's commenting better.
A good comment puts you in front of someone else's audience: people who don't follow you yet.
And the algorithms notice. In Twitter's open-source ranking code, a predicted reply is weighted about 7.6 times a like.
But most comments are invisible:
"Great post!"
"So true 🙌"
"Thanks for sharing."
5 ways to write comments people actually read:
1. Add one thing the post missed
A number, an example, a counterpoint.
2. Share your own result
"We tried this. Here's what happened."
3. Ask a specific question
Not "Thoughts?" but "How did you handle X when Y happened?"
4. Be early
Comments that land early tend to stay near the top.
5. Keep it short
2 to 4 lines. Long enough to say something, short enough to finish.
The habit: 15 minutes a day of real comments on posts in your niche.
The VoiceMOAT Chrome extension helps with this. It drafts a reply in your tone right inside LinkedIn and Twitter. You edit it and post it yourself.
What's the best comment you've ever received on a post?
