#Gate上线台股交易 Memory Is Breaking Down While the Chip Leaders Hold: Where Each Stock Stands
The split on this morning's tape is clear. SanDisk and SOXL are under heavy pressure, NVIDIA is sliding modestly, and AMD is the only name in this group trading higher. That divergence tells you more than any single price.
The numbers this morning:
SanDisk printed $1,037.40, down 7.91% from the prior close of $1,126.52. SOXL printed $66.68, down 8.81% from $73.12. NVIDIA printed $200.13, down 3.17% from $206.69. AMD printed $488.78, up 1.01% from $483.90. SpaceX printed $135.92, down 3.81% from $141.31.
Memory is where the pressure sits:
SanDisk and SOXL are both exposed to memory and semiconductors, and both fell hardest. The sell-off follows the US midterm result and renewed worries about AI spending and policy. Those concerns hit the names with the most leverage to the cycle first.
SanDisk's fundamentals are not the problem. Its latest quarter beat on revenue and EPS, and it guided higher for the next quarter. Revenue was about $11.03 billion, against a $10.70 billion estimate, and adjusted EPS was $49.51, against $47.15. It guided revenue to $12.2 to $12.6 billion and EPS to $55 to $57. The company also bought back about 3.2 million shares and returned $5 billion to shareholders.
The market is no longer rewarding a beat alone. Wells Fargo and BofA both signaled that upside may slow, and BofA lowered its valuation multiple. At about 8 times trailing earnings, the valuation looks low, but the market is asking how durable the memory cycle is.
The chip leaders are holding their structure better:
NVIDIA's latest quarter showed revenue of about $96.2 billion, against a $92.3 billion estimate. EPS was $2.47, against $2.09. Management guided next-quarter revenue to about $108 billion, plus or minus 2%. NVIDIA reports again on 17 November, and that date is now the key catalyst. Its session range was $199.68 to $206.79, so the stock is holding close to its prior-day area.
AMD sits on a different story. It reported fiscal Q3 after the close on 3 November, with a data-center beat and a 2027 growth outlook above 80%, according to Reuters. The stock is up on the day, which suggests the market is still paying for that growth. The session range was $476.50 to $514.61, and the stock trades far below its 52-week high of $658.52.
Levels to watch:
SanDisk: The first support is the session low of $1,014, followed by the pre-market print near $1,000. Resistance sits at $1,120, the prior session high, and the prior close near $1,126.
SOXL: The session low of $62.23 is the first support. The prior close of $73.12 is the first resistance, with the session high of $75.29 above it.
NVIDIA: Support sits at $199.68, the session low. Resistance sits near $206.70, the prior close.
AMD: Support sits at $476.50, the session low. Resistance sits at $514.60, the session high.
SpaceX: Support sits near $133, the session low. Resistance sits near $140.50, the session high.
Why the RSI and moving averages are missing:
I did not pull reliable RSI or moving-average readings for SOXL, NVIDIA or AMD, and the indicator feed returned no data for SanDisk. Until those are confirmed, the levels above are the best guide. Any trend call would be premature without them.
What would change the picture:
The bearish case strengthens if SanDisk loses the $1,000 area on a closing basis, or if SOXL breaks below its session low. The bullish case strengthens if NVIDIA reclaims the $206 area ahead of its 17 November report, and if AMD holds above $476 on a pullback.
The memory group is repricing its cycle risk, while the chip leaders are being judged on guidance. Watch the earnings guidance from NVIDIA, the closing levels in SanDisk, and whether AI-policy headlines keep weighing on the group.
