Where each stock stands
SanDisk (SNDK) is the most volatile name on the list. It printed $1,037.40, down 7.91% from $1,126.52, on about 11.5 million shares and roughly $12.2 billion of turnover. Its market value is about $147.6 billion.
SOXL, the three-times leveraged semiconductor ETF, printed $66.68, down 8.81% from $73.12. Volume was about 247 million shares, and turnover about $17.0 billion. Fund assets are about $19.4 billion, and the net asset value is $66.61, so the fund trades close to its underlying value.
NVIDIA (NVDA) printed $200.13, down 3.17% from $206.69, on about 149 million shares and $30.2 billion of turnover. Its market value is about $4.82 trillion.
AMD printed $488.78, up 1.01% from $483.90, on about 51 million shares and $25.0 billion of turnover. Its market value is about $802 billion.
SpaceX (SPCX) printed $135.92, down 3.81% from $141.31, on about 135 million shares and $18.4 billion of turnover. Its market value is about $1.85 trillion. I did not pull its earnings, so I will not comment on its fundamentals.
Valuation at a glance
On trailing earnings, NVIDIA trades near 25 times and AMD near 106 times. On the feed's forward-style basis, NVIDIA is near 41 times and AMD near 184 times. SanDisk trades near 8 times trailing earnings, which looks cheap only if the memory cycle holds. SpaceX has negative earnings, so its P/E is not meaningful here.
NVIDIA: the earnings anchor
NVIDIA's latest reported quarter, fiscal Q2 2027, brought revenue of about $96.2 billion against a $92.3 billion estimate. Reported EPS was $2.47 against $2.09. Management guided next-quarter revenue to about $108 billion, plus or minus 2%. The next report is on 17 November. Today's session range was $199.68 to $206.79. The prior close near $206.70 is now resistance, and the $199.68 low is the first support.
AMD: growth priced for perfection
AMD reported fiscal Q3 results after the close on 3 November. According to Reuters, it beat estimates on data-center sales and forecast 2027 revenue growth of more than 80%, above the roughly 77% analysts had expected. The feed did not return a structured earnings record, so I rely on that report for those figures. The stock's 52-week high is $658.52, so today's price is still far below that peak. The session range was $476.50 to $514.61. Resistance sits near $514.60 and support near $476.50.
SanDisk: the memory cycle's stress test
SanDisk reported fiscal Q1 2027 revenue of about $11.03 billion, against an estimate of $10.70 billion. Adjusted EPS was $49.51, against $47.15. For the next quarter, it guided revenue to $12.2 to $12.6 billion and adjusted EPS to $55 to $57. It also repurchased about 3.2 million shares during the quarter and returned $5 billion to shareholders. Analysts pointed to valuation concerns and a slower earnings path. Wells Fargo and BofA both flagged that the stock's upside may slow, and BofA lowered its valuation multiple. The stock is about 54% below its 52-week high of $2,354.39.
SOXL: leverage cuts both ways
SOXL's session range was $62.23 to $75.29. The pre-market print at $61.70 sits near the low, and the prior close of $73.12 is the first resistance. Because it is three times leveraged, a 1% move in the semiconductor index can become roughly a 3% move in this fund. The feed's turnover-rate field looks anomalous, so I did not use it.
SpaceX: a new name on a big cap
SpaceX's session range was $133.14 to $140.50. Its 52-week range is $104.83 to $225.64, so the stock sits in the lower half of that range. Support sits near $133, and resistance near $140.50.
What the tape is saying
Memory names are leading the decline. SanDisk and SOXL fell hardest, which points to concern about the AI spending cycle rather than company-specific news. Reports from Yahoo Finance attributed the weakness to concerns about tighter AI policy after the midterm result, and NVIDIA's three percent drop reflected similar worries about data-center rules.
Leveraged ETFs and high-volatility stocks can move far more than their underlying benchmarks in a single session. Prices quoted are pre-market and may change before the open. This is market education, not investment advice.
