$UNI I’m betting this move can touch 8.2. The wager is an iced Americano, and we’ll check back at this time tomorrow.

I watched the order book for half an hour as yesterday’s low printed a wick at 6.94. Volume didn’t pick up on the selloff, which was clearly a shakeout of weak hands, not real distribution. Today, 24-hour trading volume is 254.9M, and UNI is up 4.69%, trading above 7.47. We haven’t seen this kind of price-volume confirmation from UNI many times in the past two months. A few whale addresses I track on-chain started moving UNI to self-custody wallets last week, and exchange balances are falling. That’s usually not something retail traders can pull off.
In plain English, here’s the technical picture: the 7.0–7.1 range has been tested repeatedly over the past three days without breaking. Yesterday, price wicked down to 6.94 and snapped back instantly, leaving an absurdly long lower shadow—a classic liquidity hunt. Price is now holding above 7.4, the 4-hour MACD has just formed a bullish crossover, and the RSI isn’t overbought yet. The first resistance above is at 7.85–7.9; a breakout would put 8.2 in reach. I don’t need to oversell the fundamentals: UNI is a DEX leader, and although the fee switch has been talked about for years, whenever market sentiment picks up, it’s one of the blue-chip DeFi names with the highest beta. It’s no coincidence that it’s rebounding faster than the broader market.
Here’s my specific plan: scale in at the current price of 7.45–7.50, keep the position below 15% of your total capital, and don’t go all in. Set a stop-loss at 6.88; if it breaks below yesterday’s low, admit you were wrong and exit. The loss would be about 8%, which is acceptable. Take half off at the first target of 7.85, and hold the rest for 8.2; exit everything there. Don’t get greedy—nobody can sell at the exact top in this market.
The UNI 6.5 dip-buying call I made in my group last month already paid off once; this is the second leg. If you think I’m wrong, come back tomorrow with a screenshot and prove me wrong. If I’m right, remember to come back and give that iced Americano a like. Follow me—analysis with specific price levels in advance doesn’t come around often. #Gate广场中秋团圆局

The second leg of the move is harder to trade than the first; watch out for false breakouts

A stop-loss at 6.88 is tight, but if it really falls below that, could you bring yourself to sell

The fee switch has been hyped for three years, and each narrative cycle has been enough to spark a rally

Cut the position in half at 7.85 and keep the rest to bet on 8.2—this is a nice rhythm
