JOLTS came in at 7.52M, around 400K above expectations. The job market isn’t as soft as everyone thinks. ADP takes the baton tomorrow night, and once that data drops, rate-cut expectations will have to be recalculated. I’m not worried about my rent-collecting positions; the ones sweating are those betting on a recession. If you think I’m talking nonsense, save this screenshot.

That 7.52M figure is solid. Sitting back and collecting rent really is steady; those betting on a recession won’t sleep tonight

JOLTS beating expectations has indeed dealt a blow to the recession narrative; if ADP also beats expectations, rate-cut bets will need a major reshuffle
