Zcash is trading near 1,289.36 USDT in the latest Gate spot snapshot, taken at about 09:00 UTC on November 4, 2026. Over the last 24 hours the price is up about 13.84%, and the intraday range runs from 1,131.14 to 1,295.60, a swing of roughly 14.5%. The seven-day figure in the snapshot shows a decline of about 6.92%, but it is measured from an older starting point, so treat it as background rather than a current trend signal. ZEC sits about 21.9% below its September 22 intraday high of 1,650.38 on the daily chart, and about 24.0% below its September 26 peak of 1,695.88. Market capitalization is about 20.04 billion USD. The move from the November 3 low into today's session is sharp, and the key question is whether price can hold above the 1,300 area that has capped rallies for weeks.
The 1-day chart shows a rebound off a base. The November 2 daily candle opened at 1,235.81 and closed at 1,134.96 after touching a low of 1,127.39, a sharp down day. The November 3 candle opened at 1,134.96, reached a high of 1,244.91, and closed at 1,219.18, about 7.4% above its open. The November 4 candle opened at 1,219.57 and has printed a high of 1,295.60 and a low of 1,158.96. At the snapshot it was near 1,289.40, roughly 5.8% above the November 3 close. The short-term averages have been reclaimed. The seven-day simple average is at 1,235.15, the 30-day at 1,227.47, and the seven-day exponential at 1,220.21. The 30-day exponential sits at 1,236.52, just above price, which makes it an immediate hurdle. The 120-day simple average is at 938.29 and the 200-day at 751.24, both well below price and sloping upward. That keeps the longer-term structure constructive even though the medium term has been choppy.
Momentum is recovering without being stretched. The daily relative strength index is 48.71, close to neutral and rising from weak readings earlier this week. The stochastic K line is at 34.36, D at 42.83, and J at 17.41, so the J line has dipped low while K and D turn higher, a sign that momentum is rebuilding. The MACD line is at negative 1.46 against a signal line at negative 8.74, and the histogram at negative 10.20 is still negative but narrowing. The Commodity Channel Index is at negative 33.11, mildly oversold rather than a blow-off signal. The Average Directional Index is at 8.60, a low reading that says trend strength is weak, so this is better described as a rebound than a confirmed trend. The plus directional indicator at 16.70 sits slightly below the minus indicator at 19.58, so sellers still hold a small edge. The parabolic SAR is at 1,392.33, well above price, so it has not flipped to support. Bollinger Bands show price in the middle to upper part of the band structure, with the lower band at 1,103.62, the middle at 1,218.35, and the upper at 1,333.08.
The 3-day chart shows a consolidation band that has lasted since late September. After the September 22 to 26 peak near 1,682 to 1,696, ZEC has traded mostly between roughly 1,050 and 1,400. Recent 3-day highs include 1,368.24 on October 19 and 1,397.74 on October 28, and the lows have held near 1,049 on October 16 and 1,075 on October 13. The current 3-day candle opened on November 3 at 1,134.96, has reached 1,295.60, and is still open, so its final shape is not yet known. The most important ceiling sits between 1,340 and 1,400. The October 28 high at 1,397.74 failed, and the 1,340 to 1,370 zone has capped rallies several times. A 3-day close above 1,400 would signal a breakout from the range. A failure in that band would keep the market locked in consolidation.
Resistance is layered. The first zone is 1,300 to 1,310, which covers today's high near 1,295.60 and the October 28 and 29 daily highs near 1,311 to 1,398. A daily close above 1,310 would be the first sign of real strength. The second zone is 1,335 to 1,345, which includes the 1,340 level that FXStreet cited as the top of the recent range. A daily close above 1,340 would confirm the breakout analysts are watching. The third zone is 1,385 to 1,400, which includes the October 28 3-day high of 1,397.74 and the next technical barrier flagged by TMGM. The fourth zone is 1,450 to 1,470, covering the October 1 daily high of 1,450 and the late-September range. The fifth zone is 1,690 to 1,700, the September peak area near the 1,698 high cited by FXStreet.
Support is also layered. The first zone is 1,240 to 1,250, which covers the seven-day simple average at 1,235, the 30-day simple average at 1,227, and the 1,250 pivot that TMGM noted buyers reclaimed on November 2. The second zone is 1,215 to 1,220, near the November 3 close of 1,219.18 and the seven-day exponential average at 1,220. A daily close below 1,215 would suggest the rebound is losing momentum. The third zone is 1,180 to 1,200, which includes the October 23 low of 1,158.70 and the area below it. The fourth zone is 1,120 to 1,135, the November 2 low of 1,127.39 and the October 16 to 18 lows. The fifth zone is 1,050 to 1,075, the October 13 and 16 lows and the floor of the 3-day range. Below that, the round number 1,000 and the 200-day simple average near 751 are the deeper references.
The news flow is supportive but mixed. FXStreet reported on November 4 that ZEC was rallying as Democrats' prospects in the US midterm elections weighed on the dollar, which supports risk assets. The same report said Zcash open interest rose to 2.17 million ZEC on Wednesday from 1.96 million on Sunday, which suggests traders are adding positions into the recovery. Flows are less clear. FXStreet also noted institutional redemptions of over 7 million USD earlier in the week, while TMGM cited a second weekly ETF inflow of about 18 million USD in late October. Governance is also in focus. TMGM reported on November 2 that the ZODL founder now supports ending the 8% block reward share directed to Zcash Community Grants. The Motley Fool reported on November 4 that a major Zcash upgrade is scheduled for November, which could act as a catalyst. Upgrades can move prices either way, so timing and execution will matter. Finally, 24/7 Wall St. reported on November 3 that ZEC had slipped to 11th in market value after a sharp intraday drop, trading below its 20-day and 50-day averages at that point. Today's rebound starts from that lower reference.
Here is the overall structure. The daily chart has moved from a sharp drop into a strong rebound, while the 3-day chart remains inside a broad range. The rebound is real, but the market still has to clear the 1,340 to 1,400 band to change the larger range. The cleanest trades are likely to come from a confirmed breakout above that band or a clear rejection from it.
Here are the trade frameworks for discussion. These are ideas, not personal financial advice. Size each position to your own risk tolerance, because Zcash can move 10% or more in a day.
For a pullback long, the entry zone is 1,215 to 1,240, covering the November 3 close area and the seven-day averages. The stop sits below the November 2 low, around 1,120. That is a risk of roughly 3.2% to 8.1% depending on fill, so size small if entering near the top of the zone. The first take-profit is 1,300, about 4.8% to 7.0% above entry. The second is 1,340, about 8.1% to 10.3% above. The third is 1,400, about 12.9% to 15.1% above. A daily close below 1,120 invalidates the setup.
For a breakout long, the trigger is a daily close above 1,340, confirmed on the 3-day chart. The entry zone is 1,345 to 1,360 after confirmation, with a stop below 1,300, a risk of about 3.7% to 4.4%. The first target is 1,400, about 2.9% to 4.1% above entry. The second is 1,450, about 6.6% to 7.8% above. The third is 1,520, about 11.8% to 13.0% above. This is a momentum trade, so watch open interest and volume. If the 3-day candle closes back inside the range after the breakout, reduce or exit.
For a range-top short, the entry zone is 1,380 to 1,400, with a stop above 1,420, a risk of about 1.4% to 2.9%. The first target is 1,340, about 3.1% to 4.5% below entry. The second is 1,300, about 6.4% to 7.1% below. The third is 1,240, about 10.7% to 11.4% below. This is a counter-trend trade inside a bounded range, so expect bounces and step back if the stop is hit.
For a breakdown short, the trigger is a daily close below 1,215, with a stop above 1,255. The entry zone is 1,205 to 1,215, a risk of about 3.3% to 4.1%. The first target is 1,160, about 3.7% to 4.6% below entry. The second is 1,120, about 7.0% to 7.9% below. Volume expansion on the breakdown would strengthen the thesis.
Exit rules should be set before entry. For longs, take one third off at the first target, move the stop to breakeven, and let the rest run to the second target. Shorts work the same way in reverse. Do not add to a losing position below the November 2 low unless the chart shows a clear reversal. Keep leverage low, since Zcash can gap through stops in fast markets.
Position sizing matters more than the entry. Many traders risk no more than 1% to 2% of their account on any single idea. With a stop about 4% away, size the position so that a 4% move costs no more than that risk amount.
The one-day plan for the next session is simple. If ZEC holds above 1,250 and pushes through 1,300, the short-term bias turns positive, with targets at 1,340 and 1,400. If it falls below 1,250 and cannot reclaim 1,260 within a few hours, the bias turns mildly negative, with targets at 1,215 and 1,180. A daily close below 1,215 would turn the rebound into a fade.
The three-day plan centers on the range. As long as 3-day candles stay under 1,400, the broader range holds. The first meaningful sign of a trend change would be a 3-day close above 1,400 followed by a higher low above 1,250. The current 3-day candle is the first real test. A close above 1,340 on that candle would hint at a breakout, and a close back below 1,215 would signal the rebound has failed.
In summary, Zcash trades near 1,289, up about 13.84% over 24 hours, and about 21.9% below its September daily peak. The daily chart shows a sharp rebound with price back above the seven-day and 30-day averages, RSI near 49, and weak trend strength. The 3-day chart is still inside a broad band. Support sits at 1,240 to 1,250, then 1,215 to 1,220, then 1,180 to 1,200. Resistance sits at 1,300 to 1,310, then 1,340, then 1,385 to 1,400. Define your stop before entering, size for a volatile market, and let a confirmed daily or 3-day close decide the trade rather than an intraday spike.
