QQQ flipped from up 0.8% to down 0.8% after hours. Even rock-solid earnings from AMD and ANET couldn’t hold it up. Once the midterm results came in, traders started worrying that if Democrats take the Senate, they’ll crack down on data centers, so AI got hit first. It’s that simple: no matter how good earnings are, policy risk still matters. Maybe I’m wrong—waiting to be proven wrong.
