$MAGMA MAGMA plunged 20% in 24 hours, dropping straight from 0.4892 to 0.3783. I spent a while watching WhaleAlerts’ alerts amid $24.7M in trading volume: an address starting with 0x7a3f, a whale among the top 20 holders, net transferred 4.2 million MAGMA to exchanges over the past 6 hours, worth about $1.6 million at the current price. Transfers of this size usually aren’t for adding to a position. On-chain transfer counts on Glassnode doubled this morning, but the number of addresses holding over 1 million didn’t increase, suggesting tokens are moving from cold wallets to hot wallets—a classic prelude to selling.

In terms of price structure, 0.3783 is today’s low and also sits right at the neckline of the previous rally. At 0.3816, the price is hovering near the low. The 24-hour trading volume of $24.7M hasn’t shrunk, suggesting panic sellers and buyers are trading hands. My approach is simple: don’t try to call the bottom; wait for a signal. Here’s the plan: First, if 0.3783 breaks on high volume (1-hour close below 0.375 and volume rising to 1.5x the previous hour), abandon the dip-buying idea and instead wait to reassess in the 0.34–0.35 range; second, if 0.3783 holds and there’s a 1-hour low-volume stabilization (volume drops below $8M), you can try going long, with a position no larger than 5% of total funds. Set a stop-loss at 0.365 (3 points below today’s low), with a first take-profit target of 0.42 and a second target of 0.455. Take half off at 0.42. In terms of coin selection, an asset like MAGMA, with a 24-hour range close to 30%, is only suitable for quick short-term trades—don’t hold it as a medium- or long-term position. Don’t add a second tranche until whale transfer data turns positive.
What’s smart money doing? After the 0x7a3f address transferred the tokens, there was no sign of them flowing back on-chain. Instead, a new address starting with 0x9c2e bought about 800,000 tokens near 0.38—a tentative entry, not a move by a major player. The real big money is watching and waiting for 0.3783 to give a clear direction. If you’re holding MAGMA, the most important thing to do now is set a stop-loss order and avoid staring at the charts until your emotions take over. Follow for more analysis of on-chain movements like this—I’ll post as soon as the next whale makes a move. #Gate广场中秋团圆局

Trading volume of 24.7M isn’t considered to be contracting, indicating some are still betting on a rebound; it’s only true panic when volume drops below 12M

Followed. Remember to @我 next time a whale makes a move; this kind of on-chain analysis is more useful than candlestick charts

0.3816 is grinding along the lows. This kind of price action is the most grueling: either drop fast or bounce fast—being stuck in limbo is the worst

Setting two take-profit levels is the right move: take half off at 0.42, let the rest run, and don’t get greedy

With MAGMA this volatile, placing limit orders before bed beats watching the chart. Emotional trading gets you killed fast

Holding short-term picks long term is the biggest pitfall for beginners losing money. The blogger’s warning is spot-on

If 0.3783 breaks down on heavy volume, I’ll remove it from my watchlist immediately. No point fighting the trend

I noticed that new address 0x9c2e too—just 300,000 tokens worth $300,000, definitely only testing the waters.

I’ve etched this rule into my forehead: don’t add a second tranche until whale transfer data turns positive
