A Critical Week for Global Markets: Bitcoin, Wall Street, and Economic Uncertainty

November is beginning with a packed economic and financial calendar. Between the U.S. midterm elections, important employment data, major technology earnings, and Federal Reserve expectations, investors have several reasons to prepare for increased volatility.

In my view, this could be an important week for both cryptocurrency and traditional financial markets. The biggest question is whether Bitcoin will lead the next major move or whether U.S. stocks will set the direction first.

1. U.S. Midterm Elections: Political Uncertainty Returns

November 3 marks the U.S. midterm elections. The outcome could influence Congressional control and future decisions involving taxation, government spending, economic policy, and cryptocurrency regulation.

For financial markets, political uncertainty can create short-term volatility as investors adjust their expectations.

However, I would not automatically interpret an election result as bullish or bearish for Bitcoin. The actual policy direction and market reaction matter more than political headlines.

2. U.S. Jobs Data: A Major Test for the Federal Reserve

Employment figures will be another important catalyst.

Investors are watching September JOLTS job openings, weekly unemployment claims, and the October employment report scheduled for November 6.

Stronger employment data could indicate that the economy remains resilient, potentially reducing expectations for aggressive interest-rate cuts.

On the other hand, weaker employment figures could increase expectations of monetary easing, although concerns about economic slowdown could also pressure risk assets.

This is particularly important for Bitcoin because interest-rate expectations and dollar strength can influence cryptocurrency market sentiment.

3. Apple and AMD Earnings: Technology Stocks Under Pressure

Corporate earnings are also taking center stage.

Apple has already reported its quarterly results on November 2, with investors paying attention to revenue growth, iPhone demand, services performance, margins, and management guidance under its new CEO, John Ternus.

AMD is scheduled to report on November 3. Its results and forward guidance will be particularly important for investors watching artificial intelligence demand, data-center expansion, semiconductor competition, and future growth.

In my opinion, AMD's outlook could provide an important indication of whether investors still have confidence in the AI growth story.

4. Bitcoin: Can BTC Find Its Momentum Again?

Bitcoin entered November around the $78,000–$79,000 area after experiencing considerable selling pressure during October.

The important question now is whether buyers can establish stronger support and attract fresh demand.

I would focus on three things:

- Whether BTC can maintain its important support zones.
- Whether trading volume increases during upward movements.
- Whether a breakout is confirmed through a successful retest rather than a temporary price spike.

If Bitcoin regains bullish momentum, it could improve sentiment across the broader cryptocurrency market. However, another breakdown could increase selling pressure.

5. My Market Strategy: Patience Over Prediction

I am not interested in predicting every market move during such an event-heavy week.

My approach is to monitor Bitcoin, the S&P 500, Nasdaq, the U.S. dollar, Treasury yields, and technology earnings together.

If stocks react positively to earnings and economic developments, that could support broader risk appetite. If uncertainty increases and investors move toward safer assets, cryptocurrencies could face additional pressure.

I prefer waiting for confirmed price action, identifying support and resistance, and maintaining strict risk management rather than chasing sudden movements.

Final Thoughts

This week brings together three major forces: political developments, economic data, and corporate earnings.

Bitcoin and U.S. stocks could both experience significant movements, but I believe the most important signal will be how investors respond after the actual results become available.

What do you think? Will Bitcoin make the first major bullish move, or will U.S. technology stocks lead the market recovery?

Not financial advice. Always do your own research.
