$ON That was a brutal hit: down 21.61% in 24 hours, with the price now at 0.1650, just a hair above the low of 0.1552. It’s like leaving home in the morning with 100 bucks and coming back at night with only 78, without even getting a meal in between.

What’s happening in the market? From a high of 0.2787 to a low of 0.1552, the price range was nearly 45%. This isn’t a pullback; it’s a stampede for the exits. Trading volume is 42.8M, which shows it’s not that nobody’s buying—the people stepping in are just shaking. A drop like this usually points to one of two possibilities: either a whale is selling off a large position, or something has spooked market sentiment and funds are rushing to get out. For now, the rebound is weak, buyers aren’t willing to push the price higher, and selling pressure is still hanging overhead.
Here’s my straight-up take on what to do: shorting here no longer offers a favorable risk-reward ratio, because the price is so close to the low that it could wick and bounce at any moment. If you want to go long, don’t rush. Wait until it climbs back above 0.17 and holds there for at least half an hour before considering a small position, and keep it under 20% of your portfolio. Set your stop-loss below 0.155; if it breaks, take the loss—don’t hold on. The first take-profit target is around 0.185; sell half when it gets there. Remember, the first rebound after a crash like this is the most likely to fool you. Better to miss out than get it wrong.
I don’t post that often on Square, but whenever $ON makes a move like this, I’ll speak up right away. Follow me so you don’t miss it—you’ll see me next time there’s a wick.

Sell half at 0.185 first, keep half to see how it plays out, safe

A trading volume of 42M shows there are buyers, but they’re all brave souls

Chasing highs really isn’t worth it; a wick can hit at any moment and teach you a lesson.

Is it whales selling off, or has sentiment collapsed? I lean toward the former

Set a stop-loss below 0.155; if it breaks, take the loss. Those words are worth their weight in gold
