Same 1000U, wildly different outcomes. $HUMA is currently at 0.0250, down 14.87% in 24 hours, with a high of 0.0300 and a low of 0.0231, and a trading volume of 21 million. I chased it at 0.0295 last week with 1000U, and my account now shows 842U. I need to lay out what happened with this trade.

Entry: 0.0295. At the time, I saw it bounce from 0.0231 and thought it was about to break out. Turns out I bought halfway up. Exit: I haven't sold yet. My stop-loss order at 0.0268 didn't trigger, and I'm now sitting on an unrealized loss of 158U. My mindset in this position can be summed up in one word: stubborn. I should have left as soon as it broke below 0.0280, but I insisted on waiting for a rebound. Instead, it kept sliding all the way to 0.0250.
The lessons are straightforward: First, chasing coins with a 24-hour price swing above 20% is just giving your money away. The 700-point range from 0.0300 to 0.0231, and I chose to enter right in the middle. Second, a trading volume of 21 million may look substantial, but compared with a drop like this, it shows that selling pressure hasn't been absorbed. Any rebound is a chance to escape, not an opportunity to get in.
What I suggest doing now: If you're out of the market, don't rush to buy the dip. Wait for a second test of the 24-hour low of 0.0231; only consider testing the waters with a small 3% position if it holds. Set a stop-loss at 0.0225 and take profits at the first target of 0.0268. If you're stuck like I am, sell half your position if it rebounds to around 0.0265. Don't be as stubborn as me. For position sizing, with a coin down 15% in a day, don't put more than 5% of your total capital into a single trade. I used 10% this time, which was already over the limit.
I have a bad habit when trading: I like to fight the candlestick chart, and I got burned again this time. The folks who follow me on the Square know I never sugarcoat my reviews: a loss is a loss. With $HUMA , either wait for a right-side signal or learn from my mistake of trying to catch a falling knife on the left side.
Don't blame me if you picked the wrong one. #每周来晒

A 10% position in a single trade is indeed too large. Be careful next time

A slow bleed is the most grueling; selling half your position on a rebound is wise

A 700-point range, and I entered right in the middle. What luck

$HUMA With this kind of price action, I absolutely won't make a move before a right-side signal appears
