Recently, the SOL ecosystem has a new highlight! The total amount of SOL staked on Gate has reached 663,600 SOL, with a reference annualized yield of 7.29%. This means more and more holders are starting to rethink whether the SOL they hold can serve a greater purpose beyond simply waiting for its price to rise.
In the past, the most familiar daily routine for holders was opening a market app: feeling happy when prices rose and anxious when they fell, as if they were full-time bodyguards for the candlesticks. Now, staking gives long-term holders another option: put idle assets to work in network staking and seek additional returns.
The arrival of GTSOL, in particular, makes it more flexible to use assets. Under the product rules, users can explore uses such as trading, collateralizing, or redeeming while earning staking rewards.
However, a reference annualized yield of 7.29% does not mean guaranteed profits. If the price of SOL falls, staking rewards may not make up for losses in its price. Liquidity, redemption periods, and related rules also warrant attention.
My view is that holding for the long term does not mean you can only wait passively; making reasonable use of your assets is also a skill. Mature investors care not only about how much prices rise, but also about whether their assets are being put to full use.
Would you stake your SOL or keep holding spot and wait for the next market rally? #GateSOL质押创新高参考年化7.29% $GER40
