Everyone in the group is calling for a rally, so I’m taking the contrarian view. With silver, when retail traders rush in all at once, it often isn’t the bottom. Markets tend to price in expectations ahead of every Fed decision, so when the decision actually comes, there’s often little reaction. Silver isn’t like gold—industrial demand weighs on it, so it rises slowly and its declines can be a grind too. If you’re already holding, don’t rush to add; if you’re flat, don’t chase it either. Compared with gold, silver is more like a commodity, so the logic shouldn’t be conflated.

Going against the trend is an art; the key is how far you take it. Going all-in against the trend is just as dangerous as going all-in with it.

Staying flat and watching; I’m afraid of getting stuck if I chase in at this level.

My position is small; I’ll wait for a panic selloff before considering it.

When retail traders are bullish, I usually reduce my position first.

Every time expectations are front-run, once it actually happens, the good news is priced in and turns bearish. Same old playbook.

Silver rises slowly, but it can fall just as decisively. Don’t let the grind wear down your patience.
