$G A 21% rise is a dead-cat bounce; the real slaughter hasn’t even started.

24h trading volume is 35.6M. The price rallied from 0.0032 to 0.0040, then got slammed back to 0.0039—this upper wick isn’t a bullish signal; it’s a footprint left by the whales unloading. A 21% gain in a meme coin barely counts as a warm-up, but volume hasn’t exploded. What does that tell you? Retail is chasing while big players are exiting. My Gate Square followers know I only talk data: turnover is this high, yet the price is stuck below 0.0040—a classic distribution pattern, not accumulation.

Fundamentally, $G has no new narrative taking shape. I watched the on-chain data all night: the number of large transfers into exchanges is rising, while whale address holdings are becoming less concentrated—in plain English, smart money is using this rebound to reduce its position. The technical picture is even clearer: 0.0040 is a resistance zone packed with trapped buyers from the previous high, and a breakout needs volume to back it up. At this volume, the price has already failed twice and pulled back. My view: short-term downside toward 0.0034; if that breaks, watch 0.0030.

Here’s my trading plan, plain and simple: don’t chase longs at the current price of 0.0039. Wait for a bounce to 0.0040–0.0041 to enter a small short position, set a stop-loss above 0.0043, and take profit at 0.0034 first and 0.0031 second. Keep your position below 20%. The only reason to go long is an index-wide rally, but $G’s own price action and volume don’t support it.

Who dares to post their cost basis in the comments? I bet half of you are stuck above 0.0040 and still refusing to admit it. Follow me—I’ll break down the unusual movements in $G holder addresses in my next post. #Gate广场中秋团圆局

Consider buying after a pullback to 0.0034; buying now is just giving money away

This analysis has some merit. The volume really is unusual. I’m following.

The signal of large transfers into exchanges is indeed reliable; it was right the last few times
