$SPK Something’s off with these numbers. Yesterday I still had an order sitting at 0.0205, waiting for a rebound. Today, one big red candle sent it straight down to 0.0171, down 14% in 24 hours, with $20.1M in trading volume—the volume hasn’t dried up, but the price can’t hold.

Looking back at my trade: the day before yesterday, I saw it inching up from a sideways range around 0.019 and thought 0.020 was support. I entered with 30% of my position at 0.0203 and set a stop-loss at 0.0192. Then, in the early hours last night, it plunged straight through support, triggering my stop. I exited at a 5% loss. Looking back now, the dumbest thing wasn’t the stop-loss—it was adding another 10% at 0.0205. At the time, I was thinking, “It’s fallen so much, it has to bounce,” which is classic catching-a-falling-knife mentality. The current price is 0.0172, just a hair above the 24-hour low of 0.0171, which shows that selling pressure hasn’t been exhausted at all.
There are three possibilities behind these numbers: first, major players finished distributing around 0.021 and are now deliberately pushing the price down to accumulate, with a lot of wash trading in the $20M volume; second, leveraged longs are being liquidated in a cascade, and the 0.0171 low is a liquidation cluster. There could be a rebound after the wick, but it won’t hold; third, and worst of all, the project team or early addresses are selling. In that case, 0.017 isn’t the bottom, and there’s more downside ahead.
My advice is clear: don’t buy the dip now. Wait for one of two scenarios—either it reclaims 0.0185 on rising volume and holds, in which case you can try a long with a small 20% position and a stop-loss at 0.0170; or it breaks below 0.0170 with rising volume, in which case wait until around 0.015 to look for an opportunity. If you’re holding, sell half on a rebound to around 0.0182. Don’t just sit on it. Keep your position size under 20%; the first rebound after a breakdown is the easiest to get fooled by.
You don’t see a signal like this often—maybe a few times a year. $SPK The 24-hour low and current price are practically on top of each other, which clearly shows it hasn’t fallen far enough yet. I’m telling you now: keep a close eye on 0.0170 over the next 24 hours. If it breaks, don’t hesitate. Follow me, and I’ll break down the next move as soon as it happens. #Gate广场中秋团圆局

Getting stopped out feels way too real—I got wiped out the same way last week

The 0.0170 level is indeed crucial; if it breaks, the price will drop to the next level

The 20M in trading volume hasn’t declined, suggesting there are still buyers stepping in, though it could also be wash trading

The third scenario is the most worrying: if early addresses sell off, there’s really no floor below

I get the falling-knife mentality: you keep thinking it’s fallen enough to bounce, but every catch draws blood
