The most nerve-racking thing in crypto isn't the market going up—it's waking up on Saturday to find that your account has already been through a roller coaster ride! So the most important thing about holding positions over the weekend isn't predicting whether prices will rise or fall, but thinking ahead about the worst-case scenario.
If I could choose just one asset to watch, I’d prioritize BTC. The reason is simple: it’s a market barometer, with relatively higher liquidity and market attention. But even BTC is absolutely not worth holding all-in over the weekend without conditions.
My plan is to keep a core position within my risk budget and reduce high-leverage and short-term positions. I’ll take profits in stages and follow my preset price structure for stop-losses, while avoiding frequent rule changes due to short-lived fluctuations.
If there’s a sustained high-volume decline, a key support level breaks, or macro news rapidly worsens risk appetite, I’ll prioritize protecting my principal rather than clinging to my original bullish view.
Investing isn’t a courage contest, and going all-in doesn’t mean you have strong conviction. Truly mature traders know both how to seize opportunities and when to hit the brakes. Enjoying hot pot in peace over the weekend beats staring at candlestick charts while eating instant noodles by a mile! #WCTCS9
