BTC loses $80k, is the bull market really over? Don’t rush to call the bottom this time!

Bitcoin fell to $77k, the $80k line of defense was breached, and the market is once again playing out a familiar script: bulls questioning everything, bears grinning, bottom-fishers opening their calculators, as if financial freedom were just around the corner.
But let me offer a reminder: a drop isn’t necessarily an opportunity, and consecutive declines don’t mean it’s cheap.
This time, besides leveraged liquidations, there’s also a confidence shock from a security incident at a trading platform. If funds continue to flow out, rebounds lack volume, and key levels fail to be reclaimed, the possibility of a weakening trend cannot be ignored.
My strategy is to first see whether it can stabilize around $77k, then whether it can get back above $80k. If the rebound is just a flash in the pan, I’d rather miss it than rush in.
Truly mature investors don’t shout “the bull market is back” every time prices plunge; they know when to enter and when to sit out.
