A set of data caught my eye recently: Gate saw net inflows of about $57.97 million over the past 24 hours, ranking second among global CEXs. That figure is certainly worth watching. After all, in the crypto market, fund flows are like a line outside a restaurant: a longer queue suggests people are starting to pay attention, but it doesn’t mean everyone who goes in will order a full feast. 😂
My take is that sustained inflows could indeed inject more liquidity into the market. If the new funds start participating in spot and futures trading, trading volumes for some popular tokens may gradually pick up. With more active bids and asks, new trading opportunities are also more likely to emerge.
However, net inflows don’t guarantee that trading volume will rise, let alone that token prices will go up. Funds may temporarily sit in accounts or be concentrated in just a few assets. What’s really worth watching is subsequent trading volume, order book depth, bid-ask spreads, and whether inflows can continue.
My trading experience tells me that when I see funds flowing in, I can pay closer attention—but I should never treat it as a starting gun to charge in blindly. First look at whether price and volume are moving in tandem, then assess market sentiment, and only then consider an entry plan.
The market never lacks opportunities; what’s rare are people who can keep their hands in check. Funds coming in is good news, but having a strategy to match is what really counts! 🚀
Do you think this wave of inflows will signal a recovery in trading activity, or is it just short-term hype? Feel free to share your thoughts! #Gate24小时净流入Top2 $GT
