Seeing a token rank among Gate's Top 2 for 24-hour net inflows has already put many people's fingers on the buy button, as if one second's delay would mean missing the last train to financial freedom. 😂
But here's the honest truth: capital inflows are a clue, not an answer; a high ranking is a signal to pay attention, not a notice of profits.
What is really worth studying is what happens after the inflows. If the price strengthens in tandem, trading volume confirms the move, and buyers step in during pullbacks, the market move may be more credible. Conversely, if capital flows in while the price continues to weaken, you need to consider selling pressure, changes in token ownership, and shifts in market sentiment.
What is trading's biggest fear? Not missing a market rally, but treating every hot trend as your own opportunity. When others post their gains, you don't have to rush; when others shout that it's taking off, you don't need to strap in immediately.
My trading approach is: look at the data first, then the structure, and only then consider whether to act. Setting risk limits in advance is much more reliable than praying for a reversal afterward.
Remember, the market won't give you a bonus just because you work especially hard, but it will often test your patience. Get carried away a little less and use your judgment a little more, and your account can avoid starring in so many episodes of "Heart-Pounding Drama." $GT
