Bitcoin is battling around $80,000, while social media is already buzzing as if the bull market has started early. Some are calling for a run to 100K, others are predicting another drop, as if everyone secretly got a copy of the market’s script.
But what’s really worth watching is whether capital is coming back.
Earlier market reports showed that BTC was facing weak spot demand and volatile ETF flows. Even if some large holders have resumed accumulating, that doesn’t mean the market as a whole has reached a sustained buying consensus.
It’s like seeing a few people queue outside a restaurant—it doesn’t mean the whole place is packed. Large-holder buying is worth watching, but to assess the trend, you need to see whether more capital is willing to follow.
If ETF flows gradually improve, spot buying strengthens, and BTC can reclaim resistance around $85,000, confidence in a rebound could rise further.
But if outflows continue and the price rebound lacks volume, the sideways trading around $80,000 could just be a breather during a downtrend.
There’s another easily overlooked variable: leverage. If the market breaks sharply in one direction, liquidations could amplify volatility, but that kind of move may not last.
So don’t just watch the whales’ tails—check whether the entire pool of capital is rising. Institutional moves can offer clues, but they can’t confirm a bottom for you. $Bull run incoming
