Bitcoin has been seesawing around $80,000, and the most frustrating thing isn’t whether it goes up or down—it’s how it always manages to make both bulls and bears question their sanity.
Someone declares “the bottom is in,” and the price starts wobbling lower; someone else declares “the bull market is over,” and the market suddenly bounces. BTC seems to have its own script, while retail traders supply the memes.
But if you focus only on sentiment, it’s easy to overlook the real risk: if a key support level breaks, the market may look for buyers at lower levels.
The market is currently focused on support near $79,000. If this level is decisively broken and a rebound fails to reclaim it quickly, $78,000 and lower levels could be the next areas traders watch. These are only scenario projections, not guaranteed price targets.
Conversely, if BTC can reclaim $80,000 and then break through resistance around $81,000 to $82,000, while trading volume improves significantly, the short-term rebound may become more credible.
Another issue that’s easy to overlook: a drop doesn’t necessarily mean the market has turned fully bearish, and a rally doesn’t mean the correction is over. A trend needs time and price action to confirm it; a few posts from influencers don’t decide it.
My strategy is simple: if support breaks, reassess the risk; if resistance breaks, watch to see whether price can hold above it. When there’s no signal, keeping cash on hand and being patient are also options.
After all, the most expensive lessons in crypto often don’t come from missing the bottom, but from not understanding the market and still insisting you can predict the future.
Do you think BTC will head for $82,000 next, or retest $78,000 first? Share your view, but don’t forget to leave room for risk.
