#宏观关键周 A Super Central Bank Week Is Here! Global Asset Pricing Faces a Life-or-Death Test
Global capital markets face a heavyweight Super Central Bank Week this week, with the Federal Reserve, European Central Bank and Bank of Japan set to announce their rate decisions. Gold, U.S. Treasuries, U.S. stocks and crypto assets are all holding their breath.
Markets broadly expect the central banks to leave rates unchanged, but the key is not whether they raise rates—it is the signals in their wording after the meetings.
The Fed faces a particularly stark dilemma: inflation risks remain, while economic data continues to show resilience. Markets have already begun pricing in the possibility of another rate hike in December. One misspoken word could send Treasury yields and the U.S. Dollar Index sharply swinging, triggering a repricing of global assets.
On one side, Treasuries have seen sharp swings, with yields rising and falling dramatically; on the other, gold has just emerged from a period of mixed trading, with its safe-haven appeal temporarily failing.
Divergence among U.S. tech stocks is widening, another wave of financing by AI leaders is building, and investors are repeatedly weighing their bets at elevated levels. #Gate广场万圣节
