ARM surges over 6%, Nvidia also rises nearly 3%! AI stocks are back on their feet—is this a genuine reversal or just a head fake?
AI stocks finally look a bit like a bull market again!
ARM closed up over 6%, Nvidia rose nearly 3%, and semiconductor stocks broadly strengthened. Investors who were worrying just a few days ago that AI valuations were too high are now wondering: has a new rally already quietly begun?
The stock market is so interesting. When prices fall, everyone thinks the bubble is about to burst; when they rise, people start worrying whether they’ve gotten in too late.
However, whether this rally is a trend reversal or just a sentiment rebound can’t be determined by looking at a single day’s gains.
First, long-term demand in the AI industry is still worth watching. Whether it’s data center construction, chip computing power, or companies deploying AI applications, all could continue to create investment opportunities. As long as related demand continues to grow, the industry chain could gain new earnings support.
But the other side is also very real: a good industry doesn’t mean a good price, and a good company isn’t worth buying at any price.
When market sentiment is weak, investors may worry too much; when share prices suddenly rally, they may mistake a short-term rebound for the starting gun of a long-term bull market.
What is truly worth watching is whether the gains can continue, whether trading volume and investor participation improve, and whether upcoming financial results can meet market expectations.
My view is that this rally can be seen as a sign that sentiment in the AI sector is recovering, but more evidence is needed to confirm a new market trend.
After all, the stock market is best at making you think you’ve figured it out, only to switch to a different script.
A one-day gain is about sentiment; persistence over two or three weeks is more meaningful, and ultimately, earnings will determine how far the rally goes.$ETH #Arm涨超6%领涨AI股
