This week is a super exam week for global macro markets, with the Fed, U.S. GDP, and PCE inflation data all taking center stage. For high-risk assets like SBTC, this isn't just ordinary pre-weekend trading—it's a major test of liquidity expectations.
Why keep a close eye on the Fed? Because interest rate expectations are like an oxygen tank for the market. If the Fed sends a dovish signal and the market starts betting on improved financial conditions ahead, risk assets may get some breathing room. But if inflation remains stubborn and rate-cut expectations are dashed, SBTC could go from “bull market one second” to “where did the bull go?” the next.
More importantly, strong GDP isn't necessarily bullish, and low PCE doesn't mean an immediate takeoff either. Markets trade the gap between the news and expectations, not the news itself.
My view: SBTC deserves close attention this week, especially its price reaction and trading volume after the Fed's decision. If good news comes out but the price can't rise, it may mean funds have already positioned themselves. If bad news lands but the price won't fall, it could also mean selling pressure is easing.
Remember: Don't mistake volatility for a trend, and don't mistake a single green candle for an invitation to financial freedom. $TSLA
