#BTC争夺8万美元关口 #每周来晒

I. Current Market (October 26, 2026)
- Current price is around $79,800, with an intraday low of $79,146; the $80,000 level has been breached
- Nearly 196,000 traders were liquidated across the market in the past 24 hours, totaling $728 million, with longs accounting for 84%; Bitcoin long liquidations totaled around $234 million—the decline was mainly driven by leveraged longs being forcibly liquidated, rather than active selling
- Bitcoin’s total market capitalization is around $1.61 trillion

II. Why Bitcoin Fell Below $80,000: Four Forces Converge

1. ETF flows abruptly turn negative: After spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded average daily inflows of over $1 billion for 3 consecutive days, they saw outflows of $636 million on October 22 (the largest single-day outflow since June 25), followed by another $138 million on October 23, for a combined total of around $770 million over the 2 days
2. A break of key technical levels triggers cascading liquidations: Last Wednesday (10/21), a rebound to near $85,000 failed, and the weekly close came in below $83,000. Bitcoin then fell below the 50-day moving average (around $81,700), triggering a wave of stop-losses and forced liquidations
3. Macro catalysts pile up: The Fed meets on 10/27-28 (expected to hold rates at 3.75%-4.00%, with around a 9% chance of a rate hike), September PCE is due on 10/29, and around $11 billion in options expire on 10/30
4. Risk appetite contracts across the board: The 10-year US Treasury yield is nearing 5.3%, September CPI remains elevated at 3.7% year over year, and tensions in the Middle East are pushing up oil prices. Bitcoin’s 7-day correlation with the S&P 500 is as high as 83.4%—it now looks more like a risk asset than a safe haven

III. Key Price Levels

Resistance above
- $85,000: Last week’s failed rebound level; a breakout is needed to confirm strength
- $83,000: Key weekly resistance; reclaiming it would invalidate the bearish thesis
- $81,700: 50-day moving average; holding above it would signal a medium-term shift to strength
- $80,000–$81,500: Dense supply zone + ETF cost-basis zone (around 8% of circulating supply)—the main battleground right now
Current price is around $79,800

Support below
- $79,000–$80,000: First line of short-term defense
- $78,400: Secondary support, with low-price buy orders clustered near $78,000
- $77,876: Glassnode’s “True Market Mean,” a medium-term dividing line
- $75,000: Deep support, near institution Strategy’s average cost of $73,981

IV. Two Scenarios
- Holding above $80,000 (bullish): Bitcoin needs to reclaim the $80,000–$81,500 resistance band and hold above the 50-day moving average at $81,700. This would require a dovish Fed, cooler PCE data, or a return to net ETF inflows → targets of $83,000 and $85,000
- Further downside (bearish): If $79,000 fails, watch $77,800 (the market mean) first, then $75,000; triggers include a hawkish Fed, continued ETF outflows, and runaway oil prices

V. Buy the Dip / Short / Wait?—My Preference: Mostly Wait

In terms of market structure, the odds of making a large directional bet right now are low, for three reasons:

1. Catalysts have yet to play out: The direction will ultimately be determined by the 10/28-30 “Fed decision + PCE + options expiry”; any one-way call before then is a macro bet
2. Leverage cuts both ways, with frequent liquidations in both directions: On October 16, there were $830 million in liquidations on both sides; in the past 24 hours, longs again led liquidations. In this kind of market, both longs and shorts can be “washed out” by volatility
3. Technical breakdown, but buyers are waiting below: The short-term outlook is bearish (below the 50-day moving average, ETF outflows), but real buying demand is clustered below $80,000, making this a poor point to chase shorts

If you must have a directional bias, use a signal-confirmation framework rather than predicting: reclaim $81,500–$82,000 (above the 50-day moving average) → watch for bullish opportunities; lose $79,000 → bearish momentum may continue. Until a signal appears, waiting, limiting leverage, and letting the direction emerge offers the best risk-reward.

The three indicators to watch most closely: whether ETF flows turn positive, the Fed’s wording on 10/28, and whether Bitcoin holds or loses the two key levels of $79,000 and $82,000.#Gate广场万圣节
