#BTC争夺8万美元关口 #WCTCS9 The real story behind Bitcoin’s struggle at the 80,000 level: It’s not a numbers game, but a psychological battle across the entire market
This time, getting stuck at 80,000 is unlike any previous battle around a round-number threshold. After surging all the way up since the start of the year, 80,000 has long become a psychological hurdle for everyone in the market: those who have been stuck between 70,000 and 80,000 for months will surely think, “Finally, I’m back in the clear—sell quickly and lock in my gains,” as soon as the price hits 80,000. Meanwhile, sidelined money is afraid to chase the price directly, worried it will get left holding the bag, so it’s all waiting to see whether Bitcoin can truly hold above 80,000 before deciding whether to enter.
And so we’ve ended up with this bizarre scene: as soon as the price crashes below 80,000, a wave of dip buyers rushes in, afraid they’ll miss out on cheap coins if it falls further; but once it climbs above 81,000, a wave of profit-takers dumps aggressively, afraid their profits will disappear if they wait. The two sides are evenly matched, leaving the price stuck grinding back and forth around the threshold, with neither able to drive the other out completely.
The real question now isn’t simply whether Bitcoin can hold above 80,000; it’s who will crack first. If the bulls can force the price above 84,000 over the next two or three days without it plunging back down, they’ll shatter the bears’ confidence, and all that sidelined money will rush in to buy, sending the market straight higher. But if the bears can keep the price below 80,000 for two days in a row and prevent it from recovering, the bulls who have been stubbornly holding on will panic, and once stop-loss orders pour in, the price will tumble in search of the next level of support.
As for trading, don’t bet on one direction or try to predict the market—wait for this week’s Fed news to land, see which side breaks the other first, and then act. There’s no need to charge into a battlefield where bulls and bears are fighting with knives and become cannon fodder.
