No tricks on Halloween night—let's talk about something real: what's the most nerve-racking trade you've ever made in crypto?

It was around three in the morning. I was all-in on a BTC long with 20x leverage. The market had been flat all day, and I was staring at my phone like it was a hospital heart monitor. Suddenly, a wick stabbed down—the price wicked lower. My liquidation price was right below me, and my margin balance kept shrinking as the numbers flickered. My hand hovered over the "Reduce Position" button, and cold sweat soaked through my pajamas. Three seconds—just three seconds from liquidation—and then the wick pulled back and the price rebounded in a V. I survived.

But I didn't sleep a wink that night. I had just one question on my mind: If that wick had gone down another 0.1%, what would I be doing right now? Deleting the app, or getting some air on the rooftop?

Later, I cut my leverage to 3x. I wasn't persuaded—it was fear that convinced me.
