$SPCX What concerns me most right now isn’t that there are too many shorts, but that with so much bad news, the price still won’t fall.

After news broke that SpaceX’s fundraising had hit a snag, 240 million flowed out over 15 days, while shorts still held 265 million in positions at an average price of 150.58.

The usual script would be for prices to keep getting hammered.

But the price just won’t budge around 147.

More interestingly, the short liquidation zone above 151.2–154.4 is extremely dense.

So I won’t jump into a short just because of “bad news + shorts in control.”

But I won’t buy the dip here either.

A break below 144.8 would show that the resilience was an illusion, and shorts could keep riding the trend; if 148 holds, then I’ll look at the resistance above 150.

As for the whales shorting the market, what I’m more curious about is: are they right, or are they providing liquidity to the market?#美股财报季

With 265 million in short positions and a dense liquidation zone, this setup looks too good. I've got my seat and am waiting for a short squeeze.

The shorts’ average entry is 150.58, and the current price is 147, so their unrealized profit is actually quite small. Their liquidation zone is above 151, so it feels like they’re digging themselves a hole.

The 147 support level is pretty solid; the fact that bad news can't knock it down is what's really interesting.

I've noted 144.8 and 148 as the two levels. I'll follow whichever one breaks through; no action for now.
