Let me just say a couple of things, then I’m going to bed. I won’t take up any more of your time.
1. It’s around 80,600 now. Even once it gets to 79,500, I still won’t know which way the market is headed. What I mean is, I only know that it has to hit 79,700. The short setup, originally on the 30-minute timeframe, has shifted to near the upper edge of the 4-hour range. You can take it anytime; the closer to the upper edge, the more sensible it is. If you can’t wait for it, enter early and add another position at the upper edge. No need for a stop loss. There are levels below that it has to hit. Why set a stop? What are you afraid to do? What can’t you hold?
2. I’m getting ready to close out my positions. I could exit at any time today. Don’t ask me why I’m exiting. When you couldn’t hold on at 83,000 and closed half your position, why didn’t you ask me why I didn’t exit at 83,000? Because before the target was reached, all the intermediate support levels—damn it—weekend came around. I’ve noticed this happen several times: a down move is underway and going just fine, then the weekend hits, the selling volume gets absorbed, and the weekend turns into sideways action with a downward bias. So I simply have a feeling (not a firm belief) that it might pull the same trick on me again.
3. I haven’t exited yet. Until I say I’m out, leave the original take-profit and stop-loss orders in place. I’ll let you know when I exit; if I haven’t said anything, just leave them as they are. Two orders at 79,500 and 77,500, with two take-profit levels.
4. Don’t be reluctant to exit. If you’ve made it this far without exiting, you’ve already beaten 90% of retail traders.
5. Even if I exit, I still won’t go long—not even at the lower end of the range. Even though I can’t tell which way it’ll go once it hits 79,500, and there’s a 50% chance it goes up, I still won’t go long. I’ll just watch. 👀 You can also check out the big livestreams to see what trades they’re taking, then come back and share with me in the comments.
