Hi everyone, U.S. stocks continued to open lower today, with tech stocks under renewed pressure. From what I’m seeing in the market, the key concern today seems to be: how long will it take for AI investments to pay off? On top of that, tensions in the Middle East are pushing oil prices higher, making earnings-season volatility more pronounced.
Although individual stocks are performing poorly, I’m still paying special attention to stocks in these areas to see if there are any opportunities to buy the dip👇
📌 $META : Revenue and guidance topped expectations, but the stock still weakened, showing that the market remains concerned about the costs of AI expansion and funding needs.
📌 $TSLA /LRCX: Tesla lowered its annual capex forecast, while Lam Research’s outlook fell short of expectations, putting semiconductor demand and the pace of investment in focus.
📌$MU /SNDK: Reports at 11:33 a.m. ET showed the two stocks down about 4.3% and 6.6%. Memory stocks also came under selling pressure; next, we’ll be watching whether pricing, shipments, and earnings can support valuations.
📌 SK Hynix: Its U.S.-listed shares were down about 4.8% in premarket trading; this is premarket data. I’ll continue to track HBM demand and earnings guidance.
For now, I’ll first reduce my exposure to tech and memory stocks to avoid excessive concentration, but I won’t rush to average down just because prices have fallen sharply. If a rebound fails to reclaim the opening range and then breaks the early-session low again, I’ll prioritize managing position sizes. I’ll consider entering in small batches once selling pressure eases and support is confirmed.
With oil prices and the market’s reaction to earnings still unsettled, it’s important to keep most of my capital and flexibility to trade. Let’s continue to monitor how the market develops😎#Meta財報超預期
