#美股AI和加密概念上涨

Can't catch a break for even one day. Early this morning, BTC plunged again with a huge red candle, wiping out the previous rebound. Trading picked up as prices sold off, dropping straight from around 84,800 to 82,700 and making for a nerve-racking sight. The sell wall at 83k held firm through several tests, and the bulls are clearly running out of steam.

Overall risk appetite seems to be falling sharply. Safe-haven sentiment is rising on the macro front, and capital is fleeing high-volatility assets first. Altcoins are faring even worse: already weak to begin with, many popular small-cap coins saw their losses balloon as soon as BTC broke down, falling much harder than Bitcoin. There’s little independent resilience in the market, and hot sectors have almost universally gone cold. No leading narrative is holding up against the selling pressure.

In the Middle East, Israel openly threatened to “overthrow the Iranian regime,” sending geopolitical risk through the roof. Risk assets were the first to take a hit. Worse still, September CPI came in at 3.7% year over year, higher than expected, reviving expectations of another Fed rate hike this year. The 10-year Treasury yield is at 5.3%—with risk-free assets paying interest, who would rather stick with a non-yielding asset? On top of that, the AI infrastructure boom is drawing global liquidity toward computing power, and crypto is certainly not at the front of the line in the fight for capital. ETFs have also seen consecutive outflows, with macro gravity dragging the “Uptober” story firmly back down to earth.

U.S. tech stocks have rebounded recently, especially as SpaceX’s better-than-expected results helped lift the AI sector and risk appetite recovered somewhat. Bitcoin also posted a modest rally, but don’t forget that this upswing is driven more by sentiment than by a fundamental turnaround. ETF funds have seen inflows, but they’re small, and many are “buy-the-dip” flows rather than sustained buying. More importantly, altcoin leverage remains alarmingly high—over 40% of large-cap altcoins are still hovering near their 2026 leverage highs. That means if BTC falls again, they could be the first to collapse, potentially triggering cascading liquidations.

The entire market is being battered by macro forces. Inflation is sticky, Treasury yields are soaring, and expectations of Fed rate hikes are back. Add the geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, and risk assets are under pressure across the board. Big money is now huddling in BTC and ETH, while altcoins have been left for dead—not only are they unable to rally, but leverage is piled high and cascading liquidations could hit at any moment. Some AI-themed coins are holding on today, but they can’t withstand a market-wide bloodbath.

Options expiry has just passed, and ETF inflows have dried up too. The FOMC meeting is only a few days away, so market volatility is sure to be significant.

Don’t rush to buy the dip and bet on a rebound now. Jumping in just because prices look low can easily mean catching a falling knife. Keep your hands off in the short term, and if you do trade, don’t take a heavy position. First see whether the area around 82,000 can hold; if it doesn’t, there’s room for a further drop. Protect your principal and don’t use leverage lightly! Leveraged positions are always the first to get liquidated.

Those with large spot positions can use the rebound to trim a little. Avoid altcoins as much as possible until they stabilize. The market has very little room for error right now, so wait patiently for the selling pressure to be absorbed. $BTC
