AAPL vs Samsung. Premium Ecosystem vs Memory Giant.

Apple ($AAPL )
• Price: ~$344
• Market Cap: ~$5.0T
• P/E: ~39x
• Revenue (TTM): ~$467B
Samsung Electronics (005930)
• Price: ~₩218,500–219,000 (~$150–155)
• Market Cap: ~₩1,395T (~$1.0T+)
• P/E: ~10.7x
• Revenue (TTM): ~₩485T
The Differences
Apple wins on margins, brand power, services, and ecosystem lock-in. High valuation reflects that quality. Samsung is the memory and foundry leader (DRAM/NAND), plus phones and displays. More cyclical, cheaper multiple, higher sensitivity to chip cycles and AI memory demand.
The Setup:
AAPL is the quality compounder. Samsung is the leveraged bet on semiconductors and AI memory. One is expensive for a reason. The other is cheap because cycles hurt. Different bets.
