#Gate30日净流入全球第二 What attracts capital is opportunity; what keeps it is the ecosystem. Gate recorded net inflows of over $199 million in the past 30 days, ranking second globally. Looking only at the figures, it is easy to attribute this to liquidity or a market recovery, but net inflows over a 30-day period are more like a “retention test”: after capital comes in, is there a reason for it to stay on the platform?

Liquidity is certainly the gateway. Order book depth and spreads determine whether large amounts of capital are willing to enter, but liquidity itself is commoditized—the execution differences among leading exchanges on major trading pairs are already small, and liquidity alone cannot explain sustained net inflows over 30 days. Trading opportunities are similar: new assets and early-stage alpha can drive inflows in bursts, but are unlikely to generate month-long retention.

More noteworthy is the structural difference Gate has demonstrated in retaining capital this time around: it has expanded “trading” into “scenarios where assets can stay.” As of September 2026, Gate supports over 5,300 crypto assets and more than 12,800 stocks and ETFs. Monthly ETF trading volume is close to 20 billion USDT, and Launchpool staking exceeds $1.44 billion. This means users do not have to choose between “holding coins and waiting” and “leaving”—idle assets can keep working through staking, wealth management, or cross-asset allocation, extending the “radius” within which capital remains in the ecosystem.

The underlying variable supporting this retention capacity is verifiable trust. Gate’s latest proof of reserves shows a total reserve ratio of 117%, covering nearly 500 assets, with the reserve ratio consistently above 100% across multiple reporting periods. For institutions and large investors, transparent reserve coverage is not a bonus; it is a prerequisite for capital to safely stay on the platform overnight.

Therefore, the key to Gate’s sustained capital inflows is not any single factor—liquidity, trading opportunities, or the product ecosystem—but whether all three can mesh into a “enter—use—stay” loop. Trading opportunities open the door, the multi-asset product matrix extends the time assets stay, and reserve transparency removes the fear of leaving. If any link weakens, the continuity of net inflows will be disrupted. The ranking itself is an outcome; the depth of integration across the ecosystem is the variable that needs ongoing monitoring.
