Tesla's real trump card isn't cars? If Robotaxi delivers, its valuation logic could change completely!

If you think Tesla is just an electric vehicle company, you may be underestimating the market's imagination.
In this Q3 earnings report, besides revenue and earnings per share, Robotaxi progress could also become an important variable affecting $TSLA's stock price. After all, the auto business determines today's financials, while autonomous driving carries the market's expectations for the future.
My view is that Robotaxi can be a valuation catalyst, but it can't rely on stories to drive its valuation forever.
If management can provide a clearer operating scope, expansion timeline, safety performance, and commercialization data, investors will find it easier to judge how far the business is from generating profits at scale.
But if the answers still boil down to "the future is very exciting," the market may gradually lose patience. After all, visions can get endless refills, but valuations aren't unlimited credit cards.
It's also worth noting that Robotaxi commercialization involves regulation, safety, operating costs, and user acceptance. Even if the technology advances, that doesn't mean profits will materialize immediately.
So I would focus on two dimensions: whether the traditional auto business can maintain profitability, and whether the autonomous driving business can show verifiable progress.
If both areas improve at the same time, market sentiment could heat up significantly; if auto profits come under pressure while Robotaxi lacks new evidence, the stock could face pressure.
When you buy Tesla, do you focus more on its current auto business or Robotaxi's future? Feel free to discuss in the comments. After all, the future can be very sexy, but cash flow has to be honest! #每周来晒 and #特斯拉Q3财报 $NVDA
