Meme Go grew 77.55%: What signal is Gate’s Web3 ecosystem sending?
In Gate’s September transparency report, Meme Go trading volume rose 77.55% month over month, while the number of users trading gold-farming dog tokens increased 67.65%. These two figures are worth viewing in the context of Web3 ecosystem development. In my view, they reflect not only the activity of specific products, but also users’ interest in on-chain asset discovery, community trends, and new ways to trade.
Compared with traditional centralized trading, on-chain trading is more open and assets update more quickly. Users can access emerging projects earlier and participate directly in some on-chain ecosystem activities. But this openness also means greater uncertainty: insufficient liquidity, contract vulnerabilities, malicious projects, and sharp price fluctuations can all lead to losses for participants.
Therefore, the growth of Meme-related products should not be taken as simple evidence that the entire Web3 market has entered a period of sustained prosperity. Month-over-month figures reflect changes over a specific period; whether growth can be sustained will also depend on user retention, product utility, market conditions, and ecosystem development, among other factors.
I believe Gate’s opportunities in Web3 should extend beyond providing access to trading. It can also build a more complete experience around asset discovery, on-chain data displays, risk identification, and user education. For users new to on-chain trading, clearly presenting token information, contract risks, and liquidity conditions can help them make a more informed assessment before participating.
In the long term, what the Web3 ecosystem truly needs is not short-term hype, but applications that create lasting value, active and healthy communities, and more transparent participation mechanisms. If Gate can combine product innovation with security awareness, it could help more users move from chasing market trends to understanding on-chain mechanisms and exploring practical applications. That is the direction of ecosystem expansion that is truly worth anticipating.$TSLA #Gate发布9月透明度报告
