If we continue to project based on the past cycle pattern of one bear market followed by three bull-market years, both the timing and scale of this bull market are worth reassessing.
In the past, BTC often bottomed near the end of the year, around November–December, before entering a new bull market. But if this cycle started about half a year earlier than previous ones, the bull market could also end correspondingly earlier.
Based on the cycle, the bull market could originally have lasted until 2029; if this cycle is moving faster, the top could shift forward to 2028.
Of course, historical cycles do not necessarily repeat exactly, and timing and price levels can only serve as reference points for projections. But if the broader bull-market thesis has not fundamentally changed, there is no need to dismiss the entire cycle just because of a short-term pullback.
The key is still whether the cycle is moving faster, and whether BTC can subsequently develop a trend in line with bull-market expectations.

If major bull-market opportunities arrive, which coins should you get into early?

UNI
I still like UNI.
Previously, when UNI was priced at $10, I thought a project with an $8 billion market cap was overvalued. But now the price has fallen to around $7.3, down about 30% from its high, and its value is gradually becoming more attractive.
UNI has fallen quite a bit in recent days,, and many people have started turning bearish again. The reason is that UNI is too tightly tied to the Robinhood Chain, and UNI would be done if the RH chain fizzled out. But looking at it another way, UNI is increasingly like the kind of token we've been looking for—one that can genuinely capture cash flows from TradFi moving on-chain.
Uniswap's trading fees can now be returned to UNI through burns. If Circle Arc's v2/v3/v4 trading fees are integrated later, growth in trading of stablecoins, institutional assets, and Tokenized Assets on Arc could all translate into ongoing UNI burns.
It's too early to tout how much revenue Arc can bring. For now, keep an eye on three things: Arc trading volume → fees → actual UNI burns.
There are also signs of accumulation among whales: since September 28, one has added about 1.13 million UNI, while another large holder previously bought 3.125 million UNI for about $24.2 million.
The 3.125 million UNI currently belong to 5 wallets controlled by the same entity, so they should not be counted as 5 independent whales. And overall whale holdings are still below early September levels. Judging by the token distribution, it is too early to say holdings are being broadly reconcentrated, so there may still be a period of adjustment while whales wait to accumulate at the bottom.
What is really worth watching for UNI going forward is whether real TradFi trading volume can flow onto Uniswap, and how much of it can ultimately be converted into UNI burns. If this chain of events really takes off, UNI's value-capture model will be completely different, and a market cap of tens of billions of dollars would be achievable.

PEPE
It may be worth keeping an eye on. There are ETF expectations ahead. PEPE's latest amendment regarding ETC, dated 10/2, has been updated again. If the ETF is approved, the upside expectation should be at least 2x.
The market has been focused on crypto stocks and privacy lately, and people are getting a bit tired of them.
Meme coins, on the other hand, have not had a major new catalyst in a long time. The last MEME coin ETF was for DOGE, but that was during a bear market, and the market wasn't interested.
If an ETF channel really opens up for PEPE, its scarcity will become apparent, and capital may well concentrate in leading Meme coins again.
So if PEPE sees a comfortable pullback, consider picking up some.

ENA
According to an official ENA announcement, the remaining tokens held by original investors will be unlocked all at once starting October 5. A third-party calendar estimates around 1.4 billion tokens, close to 14% of the current circulating supply, though the exact amount has not been confirmed by the project.
The project's buybacks won't start immediately either; they will only begin once the USDe supply reaches $7.5 billion.
Although the price has not fallen in the short term, that's mainly because there are too many people shorting it. If there's an opportunity, you can pick up some cheap tokens.

AAVE
AAVE has performed well in this move. One recent data point worth watching: EtherFi's Spoke loans on Aave V4 have surpassed $100 million, plus around $35 million in its own account.
EtherFi is currently one of the major sources of credit growth for Aave V4. As consumer and borrowing demand continue to expand, this figure has room to grow.
Swap revenue is even more noteworthy. It surpassed $500,000 in September alone, setting a new all-time high. The market may still be underestimating the revenue potential once the Aave application truly scales.
If millions of users eventually carry out borrowing, trading, and other financial activities in a single application, Swap could very well become one of Aave's most important sources of revenue.
Aave currently has a market cap of only $2.5 billion. Hopefully, driven by the broader crypto-stock trend and the buyback-and-burn flywheel of Aave 3.0, it can break through the $10 billion market-cap mark soon! If there's a bottoming opportunity later, you can buy and hold for the long term.
