I just checked the unusual activity list, just checked the unusual activity list, and the $BTC section made me laugh. Things are lively below—after a week of declines, bears are everywhere, and some are even calling for 35K, like they’ve seen a ghost. Up top, the price is 81,775, still slightly in the green over 24 hours, but volume is only half the usual level. A low-volume drift down, then suddenly someone below is yelling that it’s going to crash to 35K—I’ve seen this script too many times. Take a quick look at Bitcoin’s history: as long as it’s still holding firmly above the 50-week average cost line, the bull market isn’t completely dead; the grinding sideways action early in a bull market is the norm. But I have to say this too: the current price is only six or seven percent below the six-month high, so we’re halfway up, not at bargain prices. It’s up 25% from 90 days ago, and that gain hasn’t been fully digested. So what’s the argument really about this time? The bulls are betting the bull market is still on; the bears are betting it won’t hold. I’m not taking sides. I only believe one thing: low-volume selling won’t find a bottom, and low-volume rallies won’t reach the sky. Don’t chase a sudden spike; after a drop, only setups with intact structure are worth a look. That’s all there is to it. List, the $BTC section made me laugh.
