#WCTCS9 #每周来晒 Gold poised for a breakout, silver under pressure after breaking down, and oil taking aim at $100! Which will break the deadlock first?

On Friday (October 16), gold, silver, and oil showed clearly divergent technical trends for the week: gold continued to consolidate near support in the “green zone” between $4,110 and $4,170, silver remained under bearish pressure after breaking below a key level, while oil extended its climb above $95, forming a new bullish advance.

Gold holds its support range Gold is still trading near the $4,110–$4,170 support area. Price action suggests that gold is likely to continue consolidating around this range in the short term as market participants await clearer directional momentum. If bulls can push higher from this area, buying could lift gold back toward $4,250; however, a decisive break below $4,110 could open the door to a deeper decline toward the $4,000 level, with $4,018.60 as a reference level.
Key levels to watch for gold include support at $4,000, while resistance lies at $4,250, $4,350, $4,500, $4,546, and $4,700. Overall, gold remains in a short-term consolidation phase, and the direction of the breakout will determine the extent of subsequent volatility.

Silver remains in a bearish trend
Silver has broken down significantly and returned to the starting point of its previous rally, around $55.67. Although the price has rebounded slightly above this key level, the overall bearish structure remains unchanged. If the price continues to rebound, silver could return to the $59–$61 breakdown zone and turn it into new resistance. A rapid close above $61 would invalidate the current bearish scenario; otherwise, further selling pressure could drive the price down to $54, the next major target.
Support levels to watch for silver today are $54 and $50, while resistance is at $59, $64, $70, and $80.

Oil strengthens after breaking above $95
Oil is showing relative strength. After recently rebounding from a major ascending trendline, the price continued higher, easily breaking above $95. It most recently traded above $94.72 and continued to make higher highs, indicating that a new bullish advance has formed. If another pullback develops, the $95 mark and the ascending trendline will be the main supports for maintaining the uptrend. Against this backdrop, oil could continue advancing toward $100 in the short term, with $100.29 as a reference level.
Support levels to watch today include $95, $90, $85, and $80, while resistance is at $100 and $110. If bulls maintain the current momentum, the market will continue watching to see whether oil can open up further room to rise.
