1️⃣ Fed Chair Warsh avoided discussing an October rate hike, which the market interpreted as a sign the Fed is in no rush to act. The probability of a hike plunged from nearly 50% to below 15%, giving investors temporary relief.
2️⃣ But inflation hasn't been beaten (CPI at 3.7%, PPI at 6.3%, a four-year high). Multiple institutions agree: “No move in October, another hike in December”—it's a delay, not the end.
3️⃣ The Fed's quiet period starts today, with no officials speaking next week. The October 27–28 policy meeting will be the real test.
4️⃣ Two industry signals: MSCI plans to remove MicroStrategy, which holds 848k coins, from its index, leaving around $2 billion in selling pressure hanging over the market at the end of November; Bitcoin mining difficulty rose 5.92% against the trend.
5️⃣ No panic on-chain: long-term holders aren't selling, and whale wallets have hit a record high. Pressure is mainly coming from ETF outflows and high leverage; another $313 million was liquidated in 24 hours.
⚠️ With no fresh macro developments over the weekend, this is a breather as bearish news runs its course.

$313 million liquidated; has most of the high leverage been cleared out? Hope this is the final drop.

MicroStrategy was kicked out of MSCI, and $2 billion in selling pressure will be a lot to handle. Can the coin price withstand it

Rate hike delayed ≠ over—the December sword is still hanging overhead, so don’t rush to pop the champagne
