#美国9月CPI即将公布

The market’s indecision has been especially obvious over the past two days. BTC has been hovering around 83000, while ETH has only just reached above 16800. Neither side has shown a clear direction, and only a few altcoins have dared to sustain their rallies. Most rise for two days before being knocked back down by profit-taking, making it clear that capital is waiting for a definite signal.
Put plainly, everyone is focused on tonight’s CPI at 8:30, especially the core month-on-month figure, which will directly determine the market’s pace for most of the next half-month. After ETFs saw continuous outflows last week and South Korean stocks dragged down risk assets, the market just saw more than $800 million in leverage wiped out. Most of the weak positions that needed to be flushed out have already been cleared, and the remaining positions are basically betting on the data’s direction.
Don’t just watch BTC. Its correlation with the Nasdaq has climbed back to 40%, and it is now moving entirely with the direction of Treasury yields. Think about it: if core month-on-month inflation really reaches 0.3%, the 17% probability of an October rate hike could jump immediately, and BTC would definitely test the 80k support first, while altcoins would face a collective beating. But if the data comes in at 0.2% or even lower, delivering a dovish surprise, the bullish force that has been suppressed for so long could be released all at once, making a short-term surge unsurprising.
Here’s some practical advice: don’t rush to go all-in with heavy positions and bet on either side. Just hold your spot positions steady, and if you trade contracts, try not to use high leverage before the data is released tonight. Waiting for the data to land and then trading in line with the direction is much safer than guessing half a day in advance. Capital across the market is waiting for the other shoe to drop, so there is no need to put yourself in a passive position at a moment like this. $BTC
