#韩股大跌你会抄底吗 The KOSPI Index fell sharply, weighing on semiconductor stocks such as Samsung Electronics and SK hynix. This decline presents both risks and opportunities, with the key being to distinguish short-term sentiment shocks from long-term fundamental changes.

In the short term, risks remain.
This decline resulted from multiple factors: weakness in the U.S. stock market’s memory chip sector overnight, consecutive net foreign selling, the early termination of large-scale buyback plans by Samsung and SK hynix, and growing concerns that the memory cycle has peaked. In particular, ChangXin Memory Technologies’ breakthrough in the 4F architecture has intensified investor expectations of a deterioration in the competitive landscape. Market sentiment has not yet stabilized, and the technical picture remains dominated by bears, so the market may continue to fluctuate and probe lower in the short term.
However, over the medium to long term, opportunities are emerging.
The fundamentals of Samsung and SK hynix remain strong, with profits surging year-on-year in the third quarter of 2026, while AI demand for HBM and high-end DRAM has not disappeared. The current decline reflects valuation adjustments and fund reallocation more than a reversal of the industry trend.
For long-term investors, leading companies still hold advantages in technological barriers and market share, and after the sharp correction, they have gradually entered a range worth monitoring.

In terms of strategy:
· Stay on the sidelines in the short term, avoid blindly buying the dip, and wait for trading volume to expand and signs of index stabilization to emerge.
· Focus on the performance of China-South Korea semiconductor ETFs. If they outperform on the downside or rebound first, it would indicate that domestic funds view this adjustment as a short-term disturbance.
· Distinguish between sectors: memory chips have suffered the greatest impact, while the domestic substitution themes of equipment and materials have been less affected and can be monitored independently.
· Closely monitor key indicators: the Korean won exchange rate, U.S. Treasury yields, spot memory chip prices, and comments during Samsung’s October 29 earnings call. These will determine the direction of subsequent market movements. #每周来晒
