A7 is preparing to launch a service aimed at transforming the international payments landscape.

On October 13, A7 International will officially launch. A7 is an international settlement system developed by Russia’s PSB Bank.
The new service allows users to pay invoices issued by overseas trading partners using USDT, after which the funds are transferred to the recipient in a specified currency via a traditional SWIFT bank transfer.
The service is primarily intended for companies and entrepreneurs engaged in international trade, while also being available to individual users. A flat fee of 0.3% will be charged.
Petr Fradkov, Chairman of the Board of PSB Bank (PJSC Bank PSB), and Ilan Shor, CEO of A7, will jointly launch and introduce the service at 10:13 UTC on October 13 (18:13 Beijing Time).

Russian banks are setting up a stablecoin + SWIFT hybrid channel; the idea of circumventing sanctions is pretty wild

A 0.3% fixed fee is quite a fair price for international settlements, so let’s wait and see how it performs in practice
