This comparison has some marketing logic, but it obscures the fundamental differences between the two in terms of fundamentals, market positioning, and valuation logic.
I. The logic behind the comparison and BonkGuy's intentions
1. Highlighting “high-growth” expectations: BonkGuy aims to use their “similar trading volumes” to demonstrate that USELESS has excellent “market interest” and “liquidity,” while the “large market cap gap” implies that USELESS has enormous room to “catch up,” thereby attracting investors to buy in.
2. Catering to the “narrative” logic of Meme coins: USELESS focuses on the “useless” Meme narrative, and its price depends heavily on market sentiment and successive inflows of capital. By comparing it with the established Meme coin DOGE, it leverages DOGE's “wealth effect” to endorse USELESS's “emotional value.”
II. The fundamental differences between the two (why the vast market cap gap is reasonable)
1. Differences in fundamentals and asset attributes: DOGE is an established PoW cryptocurrency that has existed for over a decade, with an exceptionally strong global community consensus, extremely high liquidity, and broad real-world use cases such as payments and tipping; USELESS, by contrast, is a pure Meme coin issued only in 2025, with no practical utility whatsoever. Its value is built entirely on the spread of its “meme” and speculative capital flows, making it a high-risk “greater fool” asset.
2. Differences in valuation logic: DOGE's market cap (approximately $11 billion) reflects broad consensus around its role as “digital gold” and a “payment currency,” giving it a relatively solid valuation; USELESS's market cap (approximately $200-300 million), on the other hand, is purely “sentiment-driven pricing,” lacking fundamental support and featuring a massive valuation bubble.
3. Differences in risk and liquidity: DOGE has excellent liquidity, making it relatively easy for large amounts of capital to enter and exit, with stronger risk resistance; although USELESS's liquidity has recently increased due to speculation, it is a typical “short-term, fast-moving” asset. Once market sentiment wanes or capital withdraws, its price can easily suffer a “flash crash.”

As a high-profile “diamond hand” and KOL, BonkGuy's statements carry clear vested interests (he himself holds a large position in USELESS and has profited from it). Investors should beware of the risk of being used to “lift the sedan chair,” never blindly trust marketing rhetoric about the “market cap gap,” and properly isolate risk, treating such assets only as high-risk speculative allocations. #WCTCS9 $USELESS
