On the day of Cold Dew, it plunged from 1,340 all the way to 1,112. Over the past three days, it rebounded to 1,247 but could go no higher, while trading volume shrank to one-quarter of the volume on the crash day. Two layers of resistance overhead: the four-hour EMA50 at 1,279, followed by the daily EMA20 at 1,316, the four-hour EMA200 at 1,325, and the October 7 closing price of 1,327, all within that zone.
Plan: Short in batches from 1,285 to 1,335, with half-sized positions. Stop-loss at 1,400—do not hold if it breaks through. Target one: 1,185; target two: 1,115; target three: 1,035. Take half off at target one, and move the stop-loss on the remainder to breakeven.
With a wild coin like ZEC, would you dare short it, or would you just watch from the sidelines?
