Crypto-linked stocks ended Friday, October 9, on a strong note. Circle (CRCL) gained 4.54% to close at $84.51, while Coinbase and Strategy also moved higher, pointing to broader strength across the sector.

My take: one strong session is encouraging, but it doesn’t settle the bigger question for Circle. The company’s long-term story depends on adoption of USDC and the growth of digital payments. At the same time, investors will be watching competition, regulation, interest rates, and how those factors affect Circle’s business.

Analyst price targets can add context, but they are estimates—not promises or proof that a stock is undervalued. I’d also verify the timing of the reported Mizuho $100 target before presenting it as a new upgrade. The available target history I found doesn’t confirm it as an October 9 announcement.

For now, the broad rise in crypto-related names is a positive signal for sentiment. Whether it becomes a lasting trend will depend on follow-through in the market and the fundamentals behind each company.

What do you think: a short-term bounce, or the start of a stronger run for crypto stocks?
