Alert! A whale with an 84.6% win rate is aggressively shorting $4.1 million of $ZEC —are retail traders still daring to buy the dip?

Those who follow the trend thrive, while those who go against it perish! The whale is sharpening its knives, yet you're still blindly taking the other side?

Well-known trader XXAntiWar once again opened a 3x short position of 3,356 ZEC at $1,221! Since September, short positions have accounted for as much as 84.6%, with a win rate of 61.5%. Looking at the 1-hour chart, ZEC plunged from 1,383 to 1,112 before rebounding from the bottom. It is currently around 1,230; although it has risen above MA7/25, MA99 is clearly capping the price. In terms of capital flows, there was an inflow of $8.49 million over 1 hour, but net outflows over 7 days exceeded $1 billion! The liquidation map shows a huge short liquidation bomb of $198 million hanging around 2,000 above, with the long-short battle extremely intense.

Trading plan:
For longs, lightly test long positions on a pullback to around 1,180–1,200; for shorts, scale into short positions on a rebound to the 1,250–1,280 range.

Personal view: The whale has scored consecutive wins, while long-term capital continues to flow out. The short-term rebound is very likely a trap to lure in longs! Avoid holding oversized positions stubbornly, and be sure to set stop-losses. Follow the whale and get a share of the profits—don't become the whale's fuel! With a massive 198 million short-position time bomb hanging above 2000, would the main players dare push it higher?

Gate made an appearance at TOKEN2049 this time, yet ZEC is doing so badly—the irony is off the charts.

Retail investors buying the dip? Just fuel for whales—painful but true.

Try going long at 1180–1200? I’m chicken; I’ll consider it below 1150.
